I really enjoyed my tour in Beijing. Our guide, Linda Xie made it extra special as she was so good at explaining what we were looking at, the history of the many temples and other landmarks that we visited. She spoke excellent English and gave us loads of ideas of how to enhance our tour eg the tea ceremony, acrobatic show etc. She took us to gourmet restaurants and made sure that the food we ordered was vegetarian for us. I will recommend this tour to any friends of mine who visit China

My husband and I just returned from our “Private Tour: 10 Days China Tour to Beijing - Xi'an - Guilin - Shanghai”. We added on two nights in Shanghai, so it became a 12-Day tour. China is an amazing, beautiful, safe, and clean country with a fascinating history. And the people were so friendly and welcoming! This was our first time in China and it was also the first time doing a guided tour. I would highly recommend TravelChinaGuide. We had such a great experience I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to planning my own trips. We had high expectations and we were still pleasantly surprised. TravelChinaGuide made everything easy, from planning, to paying for the trip, to advice about what to do and expect. They assigned us a Travel Consultant, Sunny, from when we initially inquired about the tour over email. She was available and responsive to all of our questions every step of the way. We loved all four of our guides - Barry in Beijing, Irene in Xi’an, Catherine in Guilin, and Sean in Shanghai. They were all knowledgeable and personable. It was nice getting to know each of them, and an extra bonus that they were all locals. The hotels were awesome - we chose the 5-Star hotel option because it wasn’t that much more than the 4-Star hotel option. The breakfast buffets were vast and delicious, and offered local as well as Western dishes. I think the best part of this tour was that we didn’t have to work or worry about logistics - every minute was spent enjoying the sites and learning from our guides with no time wasted. We packed in a LOT of sightseeing every day. I would love to go back to visit China someday - maybe in the fall or spring next time. I would definitely choose TravelChinaGuide again if I do!

We had four great, activities packed days in Beijing. Tour agency planned all of our activities, incorporated all our requests, purchased all tickets, arranged transportation and made entire trip seamless and enjoyable. Our tour guide Emily was very pleasant, attentive and definitely knowledgeable. She was at the airport to pick us up on day one and then every morning, on time, to take us to our tours. She definitely made navigating through Beijing much easier (logistically and language wise) and made our trip overall more fun and informative

We started our 3-week tour in China with 3 days in Beijing. Among other things, we saw the Forbidden City and climbed the Great Wall. Our guide, Selina, was very experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly as well. She understood our needs very well, and we didn’t feel it was “too much” either. She also told us a lot about Chinese society, the Chinese way of life, and the development of the country, which we also found very interesting. If you are going to Beijing, ask for Selina.

With only a few days in China for leisure, this one-day tour of Beijing was truly one of the best possible ways to see the region's most important cultural attractions. Linda Xie was our designated tour guide for the day, and she did a phenomenal job bringing energy, knowledge, and kindness to every destination. We learned so much about the city's history and visited incredible places like the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, and Tiananmen Square. She even took us to enjoy some local tea, which made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend requesting Linda Xie as your tour guide if you choose this tour option!

Hotel rooms were luxurious, bed soft, food was very tasteful and in abundance (sometimes even too much, so I gain few pounds). Thankfully we were active and see a lot of amazing sights. Our guides were attentive (especially Kevin in Beijing) and knowlageble (especially Tracy in Xi An). But all of them were very kind and tried to make us feel good. The praise goes also to our drivers that kept us safe on the road. I wish this trip wouldn't end. If you decide to go on same trip, avoid rainy season and motocyclists that can be found even on the pavements.
