Itinerary
Begin your journey in Zanzibar, flying with domestic flight to Mikumi National Park, known for its Mkata flood plains, reminiscent of the Serengeti. Upon arrival at Kikoboga Airstrip, you'll be greeted by our driver-guide, who will outline the day's activities. Commence a game drive through the Mkata flood plains, a hotspot for wildlife viewing, where you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly predators such as hyenas, leopards, and lions. The area is also a habitat for the Sable Antelope, Great Kudu, and Eland, the world's largest antelope. Enjoy a midday hot lunch before further exploring the park. The afternoon features a visit to the renowned Hippo Pool, a gathering place for various wildlife. The day ends with a drive back to the airstrip for your domestic flight return flight to Zanzibar, carrying memories of the day's adventures.

His patience and eye for detail were particularly impressive: He stopped again and again whenever he discovered something interesting, even if it was just a small chameleon by the side of the road. In addition, he was attentive to our needs at all times and made the day relaxed and safe. Despite the short time on site – the day trip only gives you a few hours in the park – it never felt rushed thanks to Innocent's organization and route planning. Thank you for a wonderful and very informative day!! Our driver Gaino never tired of looking for the best spots to really show us all the animals up close. And our guide Innocence was the best!! You could really ask him anything, he knew an answer to EVERYTHING! In addition, he was super friendly, funny and accommodating! We saw monkeys, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, warthogs, giraffes, elephants, lions, crocodiles and hippos up close and received a lot of exciting information! Highly recommended!!!

A fantastic day with the family. Especially thanks to our super nice guide Innocent (who speaks fluent German and shared a lot of knowledge about flora and fauna) and the daredevil Gaino at the wheel of the jeep. the best safari experience ever, we had so much fun with our driver paschal and our tour guide innocent. they were both friendly, patient, talked to us all the time, explained everything perfectly. non of the animals went unnoticed, the both are very perceptive and pointed every thing to us. it was very important for them to make sure we had the best experience, reminded us to take pictures, stopped to make sure we get great shots and even helped us taking them. we were very lucky to see so many animals and be paired with such nice staff.
