BUKIT CINTA (LOVE HILL). Believed by the Tengger tribe as a place where two pairs of lovers, namely Joko Seger and Roro Anteng are referred to as ancestors or the origin of the Tengger tribe who inhabited the Mount Bromo area. This is the most romantic location in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS). If you keep thinking about the person you love while the trip from the viewpoint to this place, the Tengger tribe believes that you will become a life partner with the people you think about.
Pura Luhur Poten is a Hindu temple located under the foot of Mount Bromo. This temple is the center of religious activities of the majority Tengger tribe who are Hindu. You can visit this place by walking as far as 200 meters from the car park area.
WIDODAREN - The dinosaurs valley. Mount Widodaren is a mountain located close to Mount Bromo. Mount Widodaren has a height of 2,614 meters above sea level. This mountain is one part of the Tengger caldera. Activities that you can do here is take a picture in front of a Jeep car with a beautiful mountain view
MALANG- SUNRISE VIEW POINT, Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) The trip to Mount Bromo normally takes for 2-2.5 hours from Malang city. The first area of TNBTS that we will visit is the sunrise view point located in Penanjakan or Kingkong hill. Normally the sunrise will be rise at 04.30 AM. Upon arrival in the sunrise view point, the driver will ask for permission to take a rest until 06.00 AM. This is important considering the road conditions that you will take in the morning are more bumping than the road that you have traveled during night (Malang-Sunrise view point). So you’ll enjoy the view of Penanjakan without a tour guide. The night temperature at Mount Bromo is normally 0°-12° Celcius and will warm up when the sun rises. If you need an extra jacket, you can rent in the sunrise view point with cost 20.000 - 30.000 IDR. While waiting for sun to rise, you can wait at local coffee shop there. Please ask for the price first to avoid scam in the end.

Hamden was a fantastic tour guide and made our experience so fun. He took us to the Caldera of mount bromo while it was still dark so we could see the lava and then wait for the sunrise down below. We came to the caldera first instead of the viewpoint to avoid some heavily congested traffic, but this was a choice that he offered and we could of course stick to the original itinerary if we preferred. Trust that you will see an unfathomable amount of "jeeps" all headed in the exact same direction to do the exact same thing. Our jeep driver did an amazing job of making the bumpy roads as comfortable as possible. The sulfur fumes can be unpredictable and quite strong- make sure you bring a mask!! Even with a mask my nose burned and I was still coughing, but there is no way to control nature. Temperatures were quite cold, especially before sunrise. As a new englander used to the cold, I was able to tough it out with a long sleeve shirt, sun hoodie, and wind breaker for my layers. Consider bundling up better if you don't tolerate cold well. Hamden took so many wonderful photos and videos for us throughout the day which will be a great way to remember this trip. The best part of the trip was an unscripted eruption from Mount semeru in the distance- so cool to see!
Truly an awesome experience. Our tour guide Hamdan and driver Dika were super sweet and really helpful! It was very busy and they decided to change the program in consultation with us (to the volcano first instead of sunrise), which turned out to be a fantastic choice. 10/10 for these guys! 👏🏼

Absolutely wonderful private tour of bromo 🙏 everything went amazing and our guide Hamdan as well as our driver Mr Wawan had given us an epic personalised experience. Our guide Hamdan was very knowledgeable of the volcanoes of the area, and his photography skills were epic 😀 he also helped some of our family who were a little nervous of heights. Couldn’t see Bromo as we were taken to the wrong viewing point. The view we did have of other mountains and sea of sand was spectacular but not what we paid for. The transportation was very cramped and uncomfortable. Be careful before you book. The guide and driver were very good

We (me & fam) had 1 day Bromo sunrise private trip with Mr Hamdan as our tour leader. The trip was excellent: great scheduling so we could arrive earlier and got perfect sunrise spot, avoid traffic jam, etc. Hamdan, jeep driver and shuttle driver are also really helpful, communicative and do their best effort to help us got best experience during trip.
