Best Time to Visit
Koh Samui has a slightly different climate to the Andaman coast: the driest, sunniest months are generally December to April and the June–August window, while October–November is the wettest. It's a good year-round escape with brief showers possible anytime.
Getting Around
There's no public bus network — shared songthaew trucks run along the main ring road, and taxis or scooters are the usual options. Boat tours and snorkelling trips include hotel pickups, and the island has its own airport for easy access.
