Das Ziel dieses Erlebnisses ist es, in Spanien zu frühstücken und in Frankreich zu Mittag zu essen, ohne eine physische Grenze zu überschreiten! Wie klingt das? Wir verlassen Barcelona um 8:30 Uhr in unserem 7-Sitzer-Van. Erster Halt ist Girona, berühmt für Game of Thrones. Nach einem leichten Frühstück und einem gemütlichen Spaziergang durch das Herz der Altstadt steigen wir wieder in unseren Minivan in Richtung Frankreich. Ehe Sie sich versehen, betreten wir Frankreich. Gegen Mittag erreichen wir Collioure, ein Dorf an der Südküste Frankreichs mit etwa 2000 Einwohnern. Nach einer kurzen gemeinsamen Erkundung geben wir Ihnen freie Zeit zum Mittagessen und Entspannen am Mittelmeer. Gegen 4 Uhr kehren wir in Richtung Barcelona zurück. BITTE BEACHTEN: Bringen Sie in den Sommermonaten unbedingt Ihre Badebekleidung und Ihr Strandtuch mit! WICHTIG!!! Bringen Sie IMMER Ihren Reisepass oder Personalausweis mit, falls es zu einer zufälligen Polizeikontrolle kommt

Collioure. Collioure ist eine Stadt an der Mittelmeerküste Südfrankreichs. Am Meer bietet das mittelalterliche Château Royal de Collioure einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Küste. Der Glockenturm der Kirche Notre-Dame-des-Anges aus dem 17. Jahrhundert war einst ein Leuchtturm. Das Museum für moderne Kunst. Wir stellen Ihnen 2 Stunden Freizeit zum Mittagessen und für einen Spaziergang zur Verfügung.

Liars!!! Denied access because I had an infant with me. An infant on the reservation.
We were not able to get on the tour the driver looked at my tickets and daid we were not on his tour. I made reservation on July for 3 adults and an infant. The driver repeatedly said I was not on his tour. Were I contacted the tour company on the viator app, there was no response. When the company was contacted by viator they, the tour company told viator that they had left. Three individuals got on the tour and they were allowed access my family and I were not. Although a reservation for us was booked and it was valid. I asked for a refund and I was told they had to review because I did not show up. I was there for over 50 minutes, 30 before and 20 after trying to figure out what was wrong with the reservations. Still have not received word on my refund. If you are traveling with an infant, I would not book with this company.

Day trip
It is quite a bit of driving but the van is comfortable and Papa bear makes it go quickly and feel safe with driving. The history of girona and bridges and architecture was interesting.

Spain and France in a day.
Girona, a charming town, left us wanting more. Our tour guide, lacking in knowledge, merely walked us around the perimeter, leaving us wanting to explore at our own pace. Located about an hour from Barcelona, Girona is a must-visit destination. The drive to Collioure, a picturesque seaside town, was underwhelming. On our own, we explored Collioure, a town that exudes charm. However, the cramped Renault car, accommodating only seven passengers, made the journey feel cramped. Despite being a small group, the tour lacked a personal touch. I was eagerly anticipating the sights and experiences, but unfortunately, they fell short of my expectations.

After speaking directly with Guil, your guide that day, and reviewing the feedback from other travelers who were on the same tour, we found that their experience was quite different from what is described in your review. Guil is a French guide with a very high level of historical knowledge, and he consistently receives excellent reviews from our guests. According to his account of the day, he provided explanations throughout the visits and was available to answer questions. He also noticed relatively little interaction from your group, with few questions and limited engagement during some of the explanations. At certain moments, some members of the group also moved away from the guide while he was speaking. Of course, every traveler experiences a tour differently, and we fully respect that your expectations may not have been met. We simply wanted to add this context because the impression that the guide “merely walked us around the perimeter” does not reflect the experience reported by the guide or by the other guests who were with you that day. Regarding the vehicle, our tour is specifically designed as a small-group tour, which is why we use 8/9-seat minivans rather than larger vehicles. This is clearly indicated in the tour description. We understand that personal perceptions of space and comfort can vary, but the vehicle used was consistent with the format of the tour you booked. As for Collioure, the tour intentionally includes free time there, allowing guests to explore the town independently and at their own pace. We are glad that you were able to appreciate its charm, even if the overall experience did not live up to your expectations. In any case, thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts. South of Crance with Guillermo
Guillermo took us from Madrid to Girona where we saw some beautiful architecture, then we moved on to the South Coast of France “Coulliar”. Beautiful town with many restaurants on the edge of the Sea. Lovely trip!

we had a fantastic time with antoine as our guide for this excursion. he was an expert at knowing the history of girona, extremely kind and gave us excellent recommendations of where to spend our time in france.

Excellent outing to Girona and Collioure
Guillaume was an excellent guide: friendly, informative, safe driver. It was a great experience. If you have limited time, this is a great way to see these two cities.

2 countries in one day
Our tour operator was super knowledgeable and gave a lot of detail! He was helpful and kind. He was able to answer all of our questions.

Papa Bear Cares
It was a beautiful trip with great pacing. We got to have brunch in Girona before going on a chill and insightful walking tour around the city, all thanks to Papa Bear. Free time at Collioure was also very much appreciated as we got to have a delicious lunch from Papa Bear’s recommendation, swam in the beach, then got gelato before heading back to Barcelona. If it were possible to give 6 stars, we would.

Great trip!
Ivan was our guide and he was wonderful, very knowledgeable of Catalan history regarding Girona. Loved Girona and Coulliore, well worth the money!
