From Colombo It's is a 3 hour car drive there and back so 6 hours total The rafting was great fun with a swim at the end but the water was low in March The food was great The picture is not of Kitulgala and nothing like that is to be seen !
Videsh and his Blue Lanka team took us on a tour if a lifetime. We rafted down rivers. Went wild swimming past buffalos. Tracked rare birds at dusk through dense jungle. The greatest joy was the Sri Lankan culture that Videsh brought to life. We met real families, visited seldom seen temples and ate at authentic restaurants on the way for a real Sri Lankan experience. They opened this gorgeous country for us in a way we could never have done alone. We will book again soon.

The rafting was great fun, lunch was great and our tour guide Chamila took us to a temple in a cave up a tea plantation afterwards. Brilliant!
