The tour started early, but it was Worth it to really enjoy Shirakawa-go without hundreds of tourists around us. The guide Keita was a funny, acommodating, and knowledgeable guide, and took good care of us. He showed us many interesting sites, and gave good advice about which special dishes to try in the village. We also want to comment that Keitas english was spectacular, and that the driver Moto-san drove comfortably. We sadly only joined the morning tour, but enjoyed every part of it. Thank you to our great guide and driver.

Keita had awesome recommendations for food and drinks, and shared his interesting knowledge about the village. From this we got the most out of the designated time, and we tried all the specialties: Hida beef, g...mochi, dry milky sake, sweet milky sake, sake/milk ice cream, and the famous pudding. He guides very clearly and understandably.

It was great to get to know even more about japanese history and culture. We enjoyed a lot visiting kanazawa and shirakawa-go, they are two beautiful cities.
