Watercity Waterpark Ausflug Heraklion

The water was OK, I’ve been to better, but there were plenty of facilities and I loved the cashless wristbands. However the signage at the entrance isn’t great, we had to ask where you could pick up a rubber ring after walking around for about 10 minutes as it’s wasn’t clear.

this park was amazing every slide and bits here was perfect the only thing that let it down was the pools were dirty it wasn't a very nice environment to swim in but all round staff were amazing and very helpful i will return just hope the pools will be cleaner

Wow…. What a fantastic trip for me and girlfriend spending it for her birthday. We went on a Monday so there were hardly any waiting times for getting on the slides which was amazing. I did however loose my sunglasses but I contacted the park and I spoke to a lovely women called Eleftheria who manage to find my sunglasses, she was then able to organise for one of the transfers to drop them off at my hotel. I would just like to say thank you so much for that. What a lovely lovely Experience!!!! The park was amazing and would highly recommend for the thrill seekers !!!

Rubbish. Would not recommend. A handful of old dangerous slides in the middle of nowhere. Transfer drops you there for about 10:15Am but collection is not til 4:30pm. This is such a long time to spend here and be trapped as you’d do all the slides in 30mins. Waste of money you’re better off saving it and doing something else. We ended up getting a taxi back to our hotel within the first hour of being there. Also some slides are not even attended by a lifeguard. And the lazy river doesn’t move and is filled with bugs, dirt and all sorts as it clearly doesn’t get cleaned.

Self park is amazing!!! Sad, that something wrong with extreme slides (Level 3), not first water park where I was, but first one where after I slide, all the time hit bottom of the pool... Last one when I slide, I hit with heel self slide so hard, that after finish slide I could barely to walk outside pool. Also, funny that lifeguard was 2-5 meters away from me. I saw that he is looking in to me, but not even asked if I'm ok, or try to help go out from pool. Thats was realy something new for me... I understand that these guys/girls need to sit in one place while other having fun, but cmon.. It's your job to help, or at least ask if everything ok... btw, my height is 194cm, and I saw that other guy +/- same heigh, also walking with bleeded heels. Something is wrong with extreme slides for tall peoples, idk... But this is first (maybe of 9-12 of total) where, I barely can walk out by my self of injured heels.

This is a really great park…… buuuut, we found that there was a really strange feeling to the water. There was no salt like most pools in Greece and no chlorine. This did not impact on our day which was great, but we suffered after. As a party of 12, we had 7 people with the runs and throwing up. We can only assume it was the water at the park. Ordinarily I would be cautious about a review to say this, but numerous other families at our resort had the same breakout of sickness after their visits too. Just be mindful!

Our family really enjoyed our day at the park but the queues for every slide were very long. About 20 minutes for each slide is just too much. Shame really.

Decent water park. Some very fast slides. Nice location, up in the mountains. Well organised entry - scanner on wristband which covers all your food and drink, saves you needing to go back to locker all the time - place is cashless , though you can pay with cash on exit for drinks/ food etc.

A lovely day. Its not as big as it seems on all the information. Cashless wristbands were very easy to use and such a good idea, I just think they should be limited to just adults though! You had a 100 euro limit on each band. My daughter is 10 but tall and very brave. We purchased a childs wrist band but this meant she was unable to go on the bigger 'black' rides so we had to upgrade her to an adults one. This was relatively simple but would have been better to have this explained at the beginning not when we had queued to go on one of the bigger rides and got to the top to be turned away! There also doesn't seem to be enough rings and several went flat and could not be used during the day which meant people were not only queuing for the rides but also for rings when people were exiting the ride. Food was lovely, we did have to wait 45 minutes for our pizza but it was definitely worth the wait. The only negative we had was when we were in the large wave pool we decided to swim under water and soon wished we had not. It was absolutely disgusting, lots of floating objects and the floor was filthy. Overall a lovely little water park just don't expect too much.

Excellent water park! Cashless system was really good - On arrival you are issued with wrist bands that you scan to buy food, drinks etc throughout the day and then you pay for everything when you leave. The food was some of the best we’ve eaten in a theme park. I’m vegan and the vegan burger was very tasty. Slides were very good and the queues were really reasonable. My kids are 12 and 14 and they had the best day!! I would highly recommend.
