Wadi Shab und Bimmah Sinkhole Tagesausflug mit Abholung & kostenlosem Mittagessen

I booked the Wadi Shab and Bimmah Sinkhole Private Day Trip + Lunch tour through Expedia with a company called Oman Golden Tours, for me and two of my friends, based on the promised amenities, but unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations. We were told there would be an English-speaking guide, but this was not the case. The guide, Ali, was rude and unprofessional at the start, which set a negative tone for the day. Communication was very difficult throughout the trip. Additionally, it appeared no water would be provided during a long uncomfortable 2-hour drive, as advertised; however, Ali stopped for water prior to reaching our destination. While Ali attempted to improve his attitude later in the day and he did arrive to pick us up on time, the initial behavior left a bad impression and the damage was already done. After reaching out to the company, the owner of Oman Golden Tours initially admitted to the poor service and offered to come take us himself the next day, but that was not feasible for us, as we were only visiting for the weekend. Then he said he would issue a partial refund - but stopped replying to messages altogether when we suggested a partial refund amount. Total radio silence. I also contacted Expedia, but they were unwilling or unable to assist. Overall, I cannot recommend this company. Lack of accountability and poor customer service overshadowed the few positives. Oman Golden Tours is a company that is unreliable and dishonest. Avoid at all costs. You're better off booking elsewhere.

My trip to the Wadi Shab was one of the best things I’ve done. The host Akram was incredible and made the long drive there very good! Wadi Shab itself is amazing and a must do activity for anyone who goes to Muscat!

Wadi Shab: Our driver TOP! The picture with the boat is completely misleading! The boat trip takes about 1 min. You drive from one bank to another. The cost is 1 omr per person. That was already included in this tour. After that you walk for about 1-1.5 hours over rubble and narrow unpaved paths. Older people certainly need help! Then it also takes 2-3 hours. The hike itself is impressive. Once there, all tour groups gather. Now you can/have to swim in the water and about 15-20 min to reach hell. The entrance to hell is quite small. Especially people who use a life jacket, are a bit full or are claustrophobic should not do this. The driver stays at the parking lot all the time. On the way back we went to lunch. The food was really delicious and plentiful. Continue to the sinkhole: Lots of tamtamtam around a deep hole with water. Anyone who has been to Europe more often has seen this many times. To Fins Beach just around the corner: Ultimately a rocky beach! There was nothing to see unless you're interested in white stones.

I would highly recommend this company and especially our guide Akram he was the best..The trip was so much fun with him and he telling us all the history and stories. He adjusted the lunch plan according to us and made sure we get the best

It was an amazing trip.. and our guide Nibras was very helpful and friendly. Make sure to bring a change of clothes and water shoes with you.

Juma was an excellent guide. I had some questions before we departed and he answered my emails very quickly and clearly. The drive was extremely pleasant, and he was very service oriented and helpful along the entire hike. He was kind enough to stop along the way so we could have breakfast and coffee and also brought us to a wonderful lunch place after we left Wadi Shab. He is a very knowledgeable Omani guide and was able to answer my many questions about the country and the sites we saw along the way.

Nice driver, very kind. We got chai tea on the way. He told us a lot about the environment. The walk takes 45 minutes and he will wait for you.

Basically just a driver with no knowledge or any information provided regarding to the attractions to the guest. Disappointed
