Fahren Sie dann durch die Ministerien und das Gebiet des Royal Opera House, das eine führende Kunst- und Kulturorganisation im Oman ist. Die Vision des Opernhauses ist es, als Exzellenzzentrum für globales kulturelles Engagement zu dienen. Dann besuchen Sie den Qurum Beach Photo Stop und wir nehmen Sie mit, um das omanische Brot mit Honig und Karak-Tee zu probieren. Gegen 8:30 Uhr werden wir Sie durch die wunderschöne Stadt Maskat bringen, wo wir zuerst die Große Moschee besuchen werden, die neben einigen anderen einer der größten einteiligen handgefertigten iranischen Teppiche der Welt ist. Der Teppich wiegt satte 21 Tonnen und bietet bequem Platz für bis zu 20.000 Gläubige. Kurz. (Kleidungscode für die große Moschee: Männer und Frauen müssen lange Hosen tragen und Damen müssen ihre Haare bedecken)

- Bitte beachten Sie, dass jeden Freitag sowohl die Sultan-Qaboos-Moschee als auch die Königliche Oper geschlossen sind. Daher können wir nur einen Fotostopp draußen machen, zusammen mit einer kurzen Erklärung.
- Kinder unter 5 Jahren können kostenlos an der Tour teilnehmen.
- Die Große Moschee ist täglich von 8:00 bis 11:00 Uhr geöffnet und freitags geschlossen. Wenn Ihre Buchung zwischen 11:00 Uhr und 16:00 Uhr erfolgt, können wir nur einen Fotostopp draußen machen, zusammen mit einer kurzen Erklärung.

This half day tour of Muscat was perfect to see the main attractions in just 4 hours. Pickup and return at the hotel were smooth and right on time. Vehicle was comfortable and my guide Nasr was fantastic! Nasr gave me all the essentials about the beautiful sites we visited and we even chatted about the World Cup and football in general. Nasr also kindly took many pictures during the tour and then sent them to me. I highly recommend Nasr and this tour.

I was so extremely fortunate to take this tour with Khalid. Khalid is a wonderfully generous and knowledgeable guide. We were able to spend a lot of excellent time at the spectacular Grand Mosque with Khalid carefully explaining the cultural, religious, and architectural significance of this amazingly beautiful mosque. We were also able to visit the Muttrah Souq and see the various markets (and sample some treats!), as well as climb up the Muttrah fort overlooking the city. We then took an exceptionally scenic drive through the mountains observing the forts and AlAlam Palace along the way. Finally, we saw the Muscat Opera House. Along the way, Khalid explained the cultural and historical significance of the sites. He is the most personable guide and he generously shared more of Muscat with me than I could have ever hoped for. I feel blessed to have shared this time in Muscat with Khalid and I couldn't recommend this tour with him strongly enough.

An absolutely fantastic way to explore Muscat in a short amount of time! The tour was incredibly well organised, comfortable, and packed with beautiful sights and cultural insights. We visited all the key landmarks including the stunning Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Royal Opera House, Muttrah Souq, Al Alam Palace, and the historic forts overlooking Old Muscat. A huge thank you to our guide, Said Al Kiyumi, who truly made the experience exceptional. He was friendly, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about Omani culture and history. He explained everything in such an engaging way and made us feel very welcome throughout the tour. The pace of the tour was perfect — relaxed but efficient — and we never felt rushed. The traditional Omani bread, honey, and karak tea stop was a lovely local touch and one of the highlights of the day. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, pickup was seamless, and the overall hospitality was outstanding. This tour is perfect for anyone visiting Muscat for the first time or even for a short stopover. Highly recommended, especially if you get the chance to tour with Said Al Kiyumi!
