Great tour Mariana is amazing
We booked this trip from Salerno port (manfredi). Just an FYI the location pinpoint on the website isn’t accurate, the tour was located right at the front of the port, after security. We were there at 8.20 so couldn’t find the meet up point for a while until the coordinator arrived with a small sign at 8.30. Our guide Daniella was fantastic. Really enthusiastic and knowledgable. We really enjoyed our time - could have spent all day there. Daniella ensured we stood in as much shade as possible. Our only disappointment was as soon as we got into Pompeii the group was offered a toilet break, this took around 20/25 minutes and we lost this time off the tour as the end was quite rushed back to the bus. A suggestion would be a timed 5/10 break at the beginning as some people just took their time. Would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a snapshot of Pompeii. Thank you Daniella.

Great tour from the Cruise Port. Clear instructions and schedule. Francesco our Pompeii guide was great, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Managed to combine excitement for the wonderful architecture but also empathy for the victims of Pompeii.

We followed the instructions & the map directions on the app and did not locate our guide. After five minutes, we walked down to the parking lot to see if she was there. Nope. Walked back up to the pinned location, no one. I sent a message inquiring where she was. No response. At 8:40, we asked a guide from a different company. They had never heard of this company, but kindly called to inquire. No answer. Thirty minutes after our tour was to start, I received a message that she waited until 8:35 & then left with the group. We were at the pinned location prior to 8:30. She stated she was under no obligation to contact us & would not refund us. I have taken many Viator tours & never had this issue.

The meeting point pin and directions provided are fully accurate, as evidenced by the fact that all other participants of the tour located the guide and checked in without any difficulty. Our team did make a proactive attempt to contact you prior to departure. Our coordinator tried to reach you via WhatsApp; however, the phone number attached to your booking did not have an active WhatsApp account, which prevented us from establishing a connection. Regarding your communication: Our system shows that you contacted us via email at 8:40 AM. By this time, the tour had already departed. We received no phone calls from you or anyone else on your behalf during the check-in window. Had you called our office directly before the departure time, our customer service team would have immediately assisted you in locating the group. To ensure fairness to all paying guests and to keep the scheduled itinerary on track, our guides operate under a strict policy. They wait for a brief grace period (until 8:35 AM in this case) before departing. As the meeting instructions were clear, the rest of the group departed on time, and your first attempt to contact us occurred after the tour had already started, we cannot accept responsibility for your missed departure. Consequently, in alignment with our terms and conditions, we are unable to process a refund. We regret that you missed the experience, but we must adhere to our standard policies regarding no-shows. Marianna was very friendly and knowledgeable,always took time to make sure we were in shade when possible and that we were alright on the tour.was done at good pace
