It’s a little rushed. The travel was good. Great driver. Couldn’t hear anything he was saying in the back of the van.

We booked this tour through Viator. We kept receiving updates from the tour operator and Viator so we felt good about the tour. The night before I was trying to confirm the EXACT pickup location through WhatsApp with the operation staffs. There was no reply. The next day we were out early and followed our cruise company’s direction to take the shuttle bus and to be dropped off at the cruise terminal or the meeting point, we didn’t see our driver with our names on a sign. Later on I found another tour guide from the same company Mondo guide. Through her we found out that our driver was waiting outside our cruise ship. This was what I worried about the night before. Anyway we were picked up after a 20 mins wait. We also found out that due to a large volume of cruise ship passengers descending in the area, our driver who is a friend of the owner but not a regular tour group driver was drafted by the owner to drive us around. No wonder there is no communication between the driver and the operational staff! After the pickup, we arrived at Positano after almost two hours. The second hour was stop and go traffic through windy road. I got a little car sick by the time we are at Positano. We were dropped off and got to spend about one hour around town. We were then dropped off at Sorrento, got to spend about one hour also. The coastal towns were beautiful but I wish we could spend more times there. We finally had a tour guide at Pompeii. Tour guide Paola was wonderful! She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We learned a lot about Pompeii from her. Overall we visited two beautiful towns and Pompeii. I wish they had better communication between the operation staffs and the driver. Tour guide Paola was the best part of the tour. Also, the ticket to Pompeii was not included in the tour price.

We were on a family cruise 13 of us including little children. We booked a private tour. Our guide Mary was excellent, well informed, patient and personable. We highly recommend her. Our driver Vincenzo was a very good driver, accommodating and patient. They make a wonderful team. The whole team at mondo guide were extremely helpful throughout the whole process.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Tour of Politano, Salerno, and Pompeii!We had an absolutely amazing experience exploring Politano, Salerno, and Pompeii! Our driver, Eduardo, was fantastic. He navigated the challenging streets of Politano with total ease, keeping us completely safe and perfectly on schedule all day.Visiting Pompeii was truly breathtaking—it felt exactly like stepping back in time. While the weather was definitely hot, it was completely tolerable and worth every minute. I highly recommend this tour and Eduardo!

Our tour guide Maria was excellent. This tour did not disappoint. There was a lot to do and see and Maria interject history and the background and culture of the areas so well.

Good mix of independent exploring with tour guide recommendations and audio guide tour of Pompeii. Mary is very well versed in her history and information of each area.

Experience was good. Enjoyed time to explore on our own with knowledgeable information from our tour guide Mary. The history of the Almalfi coast and walking audio tour of Pompei was amazing!
