Ihre erste Station ist die Hauptstadt und der Haupthafen von Ithaka, Vathi. Das Dorf ist wie ein Amphitheater um eine tiefe und geschützte Bucht mit einem schmalen Eingang herum gebaut. Die kleine Insel Lazaretto liegt mitten im Hafen von Vathi. Die Landschaft ist malerisch, die roten Dächer der Häuser heben sich von der üppigen Natur ab, die bis zum Meer reicht.
Frikes ist eine wunderschöne traditionelle Siedlung mit einem malerischen Hafen. Es ist ein Rückzugsort für Sportboote und Fischerboote. Die gepflegten Häuser mit Keramikfliesen verleihen diesem Dorf ein attraktives Aussehen. An den Kais gibt es viele Tavernen mit Terrassen in Wassernähe. Es gibt auch schöne griechische Cafés. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön grün, die Hügel hinter und rund um das Dorf sind voller Bäume.
Ihr letzter Stopp ist zum Schwimmen am Gidaki-Strand, der eine der schönsten Naturlandschaften bietet. Weiße Kieselsteine, Olivenbäume und Sträucher, die bis zum Meer reichen. Das klare Wasser wird grün und der smaragdgrüne Farbton spiegelt die Natur um sich herum wider.

The tour allows you to discover the wonderful Ithaca, its incredible colors and its untouched nature. We made two stops for swimming in beaches with crystal clear waters. The staff is courteous and helpful. The limited number of participants allows you to fully enjoy the experience. The best day of the holiday!

Our trip was cancelled by storm but the money was also refunded immediately In the meantime, we are now going to try Wednesday

I booked this excursion with Viator and their description clearly stated that the trip was to go to Gidaki Beach and two other stops. However it did not go there but had a swim stop which was possibly off this beach. In the Viator description it said we would have up to 3 hours on the beach - not a 30 min swim stop. Unfortunately we can not do swimming off a boat so had to spend 5 hours on the boat with just 3 hours on land. After investigation I found that the misinformation was from Viator not the boat operator. So I followed back to them. However Viator refused to take any responsibility. So I shall not be using them again and I suggest people only use them for information. If you check directly with the supplier you should get correct information and probably find it cheaper too.

I booked this trip as it visited three places on Ithaca, one of which was supposed to be a beach. However it did not stop at a beach but had swimming off the boat instead. We cannot do swimming off the boat as my wife can not climb the ladder back on to a boat from the sea and I cannot swim well enough following an accident long ago. Hence for us it was 5 hours on the boat and just 3 hours on land. in addition there was no music or bar on the boat and little communication. Consequently this trip was not what we were lead to believe.

This boat trip to Ithaca was a real highlight of our holiday to Kefalonia. The trip had two swim stops in the clearest sea I have ever swam in, plus two port stops in towns for food, a wander and a drink. The team were all local, knowledgable and could give good recommendations on places to eat and things to do in your time on Ithaca. During our visit (Sept 2023) the sea between Kefalonia and Ithaca was like glass. This made even the journey to and from the island an absolute joy. Make sure you don't miss out on Poros, the town where the tour departs from. Its a lovely little town with some great bars right on the seafront and lovely hidden beaches.

We hian amazing trip to Ithaca Island stopping for 2 swims or to just enjoy the view and then Koni and Vathy for a wonder, coffee or lunch. It is a family business and they were so friendly, helping and welcoming. It was lovely to have a smaller boat trip where it almost felt like a private charter. We would definitely recommend them and go again. They asked if everyone felt ok and can recommend places to go and eat on the Island.
