Um Tirano von Mailand aus zu erreichen, fahren Sie am Comer See vorbei, an dem weltberühmte Städte wie Varenna und Bellagio liegen.
Die Tour beginnt am Comer See oder in Mailand, je nachdem, wo sich Ihre Unterkunft befindet. Unser privater Fahrdienst holt Sie ab und bringt Sie zu Ihrer ersten Station: dem Bahnhof von Tirano. Um Tirano vom Comer See aus zu erreichen, fahren Sie durch weltberühmte Städte wie Varenna und Bellagio.
Am Bahnhof von Tirano steigen Sie in den Bernina Red Train. Es handelt sich nicht um einen einfachen Zug, sondern um eine echte Arena mit Blick auf das faszinierende Schauspiel der Natur. Tatsächlich gehört der Bernina-Zug zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe! Vom Zug aus können Sie die atemberaubende Landschaft bewundern, die sich während der gesamten Fahrt vor Ihnen ausbreitet. Nach zweieinhalb Stunden erreichen Sie St. Moritz.
Von Tirano nach St. Moritz fahren Sie mit dem Bernina-Express, der zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört, vorbei an Dörfern, kleinen Weilern, Flüssen, Seen und Gletschern.
Der Ospizio Bernina ist der höchste Punkt der roten Bahnlinie, die hier eine Höhe von 2.253 m erreicht.
Im Zentrum angekommen, können Sie zwischen einem Stück Engadiner Nusskuchen und einer Schokoladenpraline eine schmackhafte Pause mit einem ruhigen Spaziergang verbinden, um die vielen Widersprüche dieser prächtigen und kosmopolitischen Bergstadt mit ihrem alpinen Charme zu entdecken.
Der St. Möriker See, den man vom Bahnhof aus über eine bequeme Unterführung erreicht, ist zweifellos der Höhepunkt der Fahrt mit der Berninabahn ins Engadiner Dorf. Hier kann man auf dem Wanderweg rund um den See spazieren gehen oder einfach die in der Ferne sichtbare Kirche St. Charles erreichen.
Auf dem Rückweg von St. Moritz mit dem Auto überqueren wir den Malojapass, eine Panoramastraße inmitten der Wälder zwischen den italienischen und den Schweizer Alpen.
Ein wunderschöner See, der im Sommer stark für Sportarten wie Kitesurfen und Windsurfen genutzt wird. Im Winter, wenn der See zugefroren ist, wird er für Langlauf, Wanderungen und Kitesurfen auf Schnee genutzt, wobei der berühmte Engadin Skimarathon jährlich über den See führt.
Auf dem Rückweg zu Ihrer Unterkunft machen Sie einen kurzen Abstecher zu den Acquafraggia-Wasserfällen (außer an Wochenenden und im August). Die Acquafraggia-Wasserfälle in der Nähe von Chiavenna sind ein atemberaubendes Naturdenkmal. Sie bestehen aus einer beeindruckenden doppelten Kaskade von etwa 170 Metern Höhe, die sogar Leonardo da Vinci erwähnte.

This was a great experience and the scenery was beautiful. Unfortunately, there had been a recent fire near the tracks and we were not able to ride the train the entire way, however, Giovanni immediately decided to drive us to the next station instead of sending us on the bus that the trains were using to move passengers to the next stop. Furthermore, he dos a great job of telling us about the history and taking us to “surprise” stops.

Wonderful experience from Start to finish. Giavanni our driver was professional, informative and fun. The drive to Tirano was diverse with scenic views of farms, wine vineyards, mountains, and towns along the route. A bonus experience was seeing the magical church in Tirano. Wonderful experience! Giavanni hand delivered us to the Red bernini train and made sure we boarded the correct train to St moritz. It was snowing in st moritz and Giavanni met us in the st moritz train station with a pair of women’s gloves for my Lady. Nice touch!! Giavanni also provided lunch recommendations in St Moritz, and coordinated our meeting place and time. Well done! The 2 hour plus train ride was amazing and picturesque. Fun to wrap around the mountain with lake and mountain views. Tons of pictures at different elevations and scenery. On the drive back to town, we stopped to take pictures of a beautiful waterfalls. Magnificent! Overall a fun adventure and journey from start to finish. 😀☝️
