Vincenzo is very professional. He is a personable guy. In representing his company, Vincenzo is very accommodating. My group of 5 from RI, USA were all on our first trip to Italy. Cultural norms, pace of life and traffic are all adjustments we are navigating on our trip. Vincenzo was very confident, efficient and responsible while driving our group through the hundreds (yes, hundreds…) of twists and turns in the regions. I would recommend anyone staying in anywhere between Naples and the Amalfi Coast— book this tour. There are additional costs, but they are mainly to cover entrance fees to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius. (Each location has an €20/person entrance fee. I would allot for flexible sum of money €50-100 per person for this reason). The other optional add-on was for a guided tour of Pompeii (€150-€200). We opted to not add the profession private guide and with a little research ahead of entering Pompeii, we made a great use of the 2hr we spent there, saw a lot and were able to catch bits of information with passing groups and conveniently-placed QR codes. Mt Vesuvius is pretty self explanatory— get dropped off at entrance walk up path, see crater, remain in awe, return to base. The crown jewel of the show for me was the Cantina de Vesuvio winery. We were welcomed and made to feel like MVPs. Hosts poured us all a sample of their wine as a welcoming gesture. Beautiful vineyard, informative tour, and a panoramic view from the rooftop while you enjoy a wine tasting along with 3 courses. Ours were: cheese & meats, spaghetti w/fresh bread, and a ricotta pie paired with their dessert wine to round out the meal. When you thought the tour couldn’t have more shine and charm, we were encouraged down to the first level to enjoy a sample of “grappa” which was a great exclamation point on a great day! Vincenzo along with his company arranged for all the itinerary and ticketing required. It was absolutely seamless. 10/10, 5 stars, whatever you call top marks—they get them without a doubt!
Thank you very much for this wonderful feedback. This is us. Kind regards Vincenzo Frattini AmalfiTourCampania
Overpriced and disorganized. We were overcharged because it was "last minute" but it is advertised on Viator. They insisted that we pay $25 euros for Vesuvius tickets that are $11 and &9 each. Also we were texting 3 different people about pickup from our hotel -- ending was extremely confusing, causing ny family to rush out the door only to wait an hour for the driver. The only thing that was exceptional was Alessandra, our guide in Pompeii. She was knowledgeable and wonderful.
Dear Mr. Ali, this feedback is absolutely anacceptable.. We worked very hard to let you enjoy the vulcano and at the end this is your appreciation ..!!! 🤦 First of all, we're happy that you nevertheless had a wonderful day at the Pompeii excavations, the winery, and Vesuvius. As you clearly stated, you booked last minute the night before. Unfortunately, you couldn't buy the Vesuvius tickets because they weren't available, and you asked us for assistance. To accommodate you, we relied on an agency that buys them first and then sells them at a higher price, guaranteeing you entry to the volcano even during difficult times. We notified you via WhatsApp that they cost €25 per person, and you accepted... also because it was the only solution. We're so sorry about the wait for the pick-up, but as we explained, the driver was stopped by the police for a document check, and time was wasted, but your tour was carried out perfectly despite the small delay. Unfortunately, we're sorry that in the end you only emphasized what you didn't like, even if the rest was executed perfectly. Best regards, Vincenzo Frattini
A day before the tour to Pompeii, the ship canceled the bus transfer we had booked. We had to arrange a private last minute transfer. It turned out to be the best option. Ferdinand was punctual and very attentive. Initially we reached our departure at 13 hours at Cruise Terminal. However, we set off for a tour of the historic center of Naples. In contact, by whatsapp, we managed to change the meeting point. Upon arrival in Pompeii, Ferdinand confirmed with the Guide of the tour the time and the end of the tour. At the end of the tour, he was already waiting for us. Professionalism and safe driving. Recommend!
We were promptly picked up the day of our excursion by Ferdinando at our cruise ship. Because we had a tight timeliness, we saw Herculaneum, hiked mt vesuvius and went to the winery. For the brief time we had in port, Ferdinando made great use of our time and had immense knowledge of the local areas we were going to. The car was spacious, clean and had great AC. I highly recommend booking this tour! They can customize it to fit your schedule and desires.
A first class experience visiting Pompeii, Herculaneum and a local winery. Our guide Marinella was knowledgeable and informative. Our driver Vincenzo was the best! He took care of every detail from start to finish and was a delight sharing his knowledge of the region. Highly recommend!
Thank you very much for your generosity..!!! We hope to see you soon back again..!!! Regards Vincenzo & Maria Frattini AmalfiTourCampania
The whole tour was fantastic. Sylvio was a great guy. Showed us his town and got us everywhere we needed to be. Pompeii guide knew her stuff and super friendly. Top it off with a visit to a winery on Vesuvius and then a hike up the volcano. Excellent all around. Made my sons trip
Great experience! Vincenzo was very accommodating - he took care of everything for us - tickets, guide and transport. Long, fun, easy day!
When my wife and I looked at the possible transfers from Rome to Amalfi, it was easy to choose the train to Napoli. The question was how to get to Amalfi from the Napoli Train Station. The AmalfiTourCampania was perfect fit to get us to Amalfi smoothly and easily. Giovanni was an excellent drive and a pleasant host for the ride to Amalfi. For our return trip back to the Napoli train station, it was a bit harder -- we had to check out at 10 am, but our train to Rome was not until 3 pm. So with that gap - we trusted ATC to handle the trip back. They set up a last minute wine tour and wine tasting, and then a short tour of Mount Vesuvius. Our professional and knowlegeable driver for this leg - Pasquale - suggested that we should spend more time on each, but unfortunately our time was limited. We realized afterward that Pasquale was right - so next time we will spend more time touring these hidden gems of experiences. You can choose any car service out there, but I will tell my friends traveling in Campania to use AmalfiTourCampania. You won't be disappointed.
This was one of my favorite tours of the entire Greece/Italy trip! The driver, Daniela, was very nice and got us around very well! He also provided plenty of water, which was much needed. Simone, our guide for Pompeii, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful as he led us around the city, often avoiding the most crowded parts (as much as he could, but it was hella busy). I loved seeing Pompeii, and how well preserved the houses were in particular. Very interesting! I think my favorite part of the tour was the vineyard wine tasting and lunch. The vineyard was beautiful, the wine was delicious, and the lunch was excellent as well! Especially the charcuterie portion. We ended up ordering several bottles of wine to ship home! We also really enjoyed hiking up Mt. Vesuvius. It was a pretty intense uphill climb, but the view was amazing from up top. All in all, a great day, well put together and well run!
Another fantastic day with my dear Vincenzo. Climb to Vesuvius spectacular, despite the bad weather in the early morning, wine tasting and wonderful food to culminate the day in Pompeii. Wordless... Who gives more? As always, Vincenzo keeps an eye on my needs and preferences for this tour. Thank you so much!
