Wir treffen uns am Eingang des Museums, um die Warteschlange zu umgehen und das Museum gemeinsam zu betreten. Wir beginnen damit, über das schwedische Reich und den Krieg zu gehen, in dem Gustav Adolf das Schiff in Dienst stellen ließ, was war der Zweck des Schiffes? Wer war in diesen Jahren der Feind? Während des Baus passierte etwas und das Schiff sank, was geschah? Und wessen Schuld war es? Viele Jahre später wurde es gefunden und geborgen, aber dies war keine leichte Aufgabe. Wir gehen das Ingenieurprojekt gemeinsam durch und zeigen Ihnen die Karten, die im 19. Jahrhundert verwendet wurden, um den Standort des Schiffes zu finden, und wie es in den 1950er Jahren gefunden wurde. Nach der Bergung wurde eine Zeitkapsel aus dem 17. Jahrhundert geöffnet und viele Geheimnisse enthüllt, wie das Leben damals war. Diese Tour ist die perfekte Wahl für diejenigen, die ein tiefes Wissen über alles erhalten möchten, was passiert ist, in und aus dem Schiff. Excellent tour of Vasa Museum. Great guide. Highly recommend seeing this museum with a guide. Lots to see & learn.

Visiting the Vasa museum was definitely one of the highlights during my time in Stockholm. It is considered one of the top places to visit for tourists, so do not miss it! I was glad I booked this tour as Sebastian was great at putting everything together that we needed to know about the museum in a way that made it engaging to listen to.

This is a fantastic tour and I highly recommend it. The museum itself is great, but having someone tell us everything and guide us through it was the best way to do it. We signed on to this tour with deliberately no knowledge of Vasa to have a surprise experience. With guide Joanes, truly among our top tours ever in 40 years of travel! He has a happy enthusiasm for everything Vasa that fills every stop of the tour with “you are there that day” feeling and knowledge. I won’t give out any detail here so you can be as amazed as we were. But be assured that Vasa museum by itself has an incredible amount of displays and information that could fill a day. With only 2+ hours, you want a guide like Joanes to make it all into a story you’ll enjoy in the telling and remember forever.
