We had a great tour with Daniel! After a separate company cancelled our tour, we booked Daniel last minute. He gave us a private tour throughout the area that was well worth our time and money! He brought us to Montepulciano and Pienza, where we had an hour each to explore on our own. We then stopped at a very small family winery where we tasted several wines. Daniel then gave us the option to either visit Montalcino or go to another winery. We chose the winery, which was in Montereggione. It was one of the best tasting experiences we’ve ever had! We tasted nearly their entire flight of wines, and were treated to an aperitivo with salami, cheese, bread, oil, and vinegar, and then a full serving each of homemade lasagna. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The wine itself was delicious, so much so that we bought a case! Overall it was a great experience that was worth much more than we paid for. We highly recommend!

Better than expected, great value, and a VIP experience. Those are the words we would use to describe our experience. Daniel was a friendly, experienced guide who provided knowledgeable background to the Tuscany area. He took us to Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, with flexibility, and tailored to our desire to spend different durations at each place. We had 2 winery tours and tastings, each lasted more than an hour, with the second tasting included a beautiful antipasti plate and lasagna. There was not a hint of pressure to buy goods at the Winery. What was more, was the secret locations he took us to, alright not so secret, but for a Gladiator movie fan, he took us to the setting where dying Maximus was travelling home in his mind eyes, along the dirt road lined on both sides by Cyprus pines, accompanied by Hanz Zimmer music, ok I am showing my nerdiness, and other beautiful sites. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip, and recommend highly of this tour.
