In den Hügeln der wunderschönen toskanischen Landschaft, nur 2 km vom mittelalterlichen Zentrum von Siena entfernt, ist diese Weintour und Verkostung "Wein, Wein und Leben" eine 3-stündige Tour in einem Bio-Weingut. Erfahren Sie mehr über die verschiedenen Phasen der Weinherstellung durch die Jahreszeiten und genießen Sie Verkostungen und ein leichtes Mittagessen.

Auf sehr einfache Weise werden wir direkt in den Weinbergen mit Hilfe von Genetik, Physiologie, Ökologie, Beschneiden, Umgang mit dem Boden und Ernten über den landwirtschaftlichen Kreislauf unserer biologischen Trauben sprechen.
Im Keller werden wir die Grundkonzepte für eine Qualitätsweinherstellung berücksichtigen und die chemischen, physikalischen und mikrobiologischen Details unserer Weine während aller Hauptschritte des Prozesses von der Traube bis zum Wein analysieren: Stemming-Crushing, alkoholische Gärung, Mazeration , malolatische Gärung, Abstechen, Stabilisieren, Abfüllen und Verfeinern.
In unserem ausgestatteten Verkostungsraum werden 4 unserer regionalen Bioweine verkostet, um mit Hilfe von Augen, Nase und Gaumen alle sensorischen Noten zu verstehen. Ein Triumph der Wahrnehmungen, um das zu betonen, was wir am meisten am Wein lieben: die komplexe Welt der Emotionen.
Die Verkostung endet mit einem leichten Mittagessen, bei dem Wein und Essen kombiniert werden. Wir bieten saisonale Menüs an, um den Gaumen zu verwöhnen und einen gesunden Körper zu bewahren. Dazu kombinieren wir Lebensmittel mit einem unserer Weine und unserem nativen Bio-Olivenöl.

Excellent overview of vineyard management and the wine production process! John is knowledgeable and very personable. The 4 (actually SIX) wines that we tasted were quite good and the meal accompanying it was excellent (lived the flourless chocolate cake!). All aspects of the 3-4 hours were carefully planned and curated. Thank you for a wonderful Tuscany experience!
We really enjoyed this tour of the gorgeous La Lastra vineyard! Lorenzo was a great guide - knowledgeable and fun! The main house was beautiful and meeting one of their lovely little cats was an added bonus. The lunch served was delicious, and they asked about dietary requirements beforehand which was great as my partner and I are vegetarian. The tour was the perfect mix of laidback, low pressure and genuinely really interesting. You should definitely go here if you’re visiting Siena!!!

This was a great experience. Lorenzo was awesome! The winery is so beautiful. The tour was on point and not too long. The wines were excellent. The food was unbelievable! Only problem was getting a taxi to the winery (a must even if mapping apps make it look walkable). If you rented a car, that would work also. We had a hard time getting a cab from Siena. I think the winery would get a taxi for you if you called that morning. They arranged a taxi for us upon leaving that showed up super quickly. Thank you so much!
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Lorenzo was an outstanding guide—enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and entertaining from start to finish. The winery tour was informative without feeling rushed, the wines were excellent, and the food was delicious. To top it off, Lorenzo even helped us arrange a taxi back to Siena at the end of the tour. One tip: don’t try to walk to the winery. It looks possible on mapping apps, but it’s much farther and more difficult than it appears. You’ll definitely want to take a taxi. Since taxis can be hard to find in Siena, I recommend messaging the winery in advance to see if they can arrange one for you. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We hope to visit again someday!
Exactly what we were looking for - close to Siena but located in beautiful countryside and organic. High quality greeting area and facilities, fantastic welcome, the guide was knowledgeable, approachable and humorous. The tasting itself was exceptional, excellent range of wine and the lunch far excelled expectations. I would highly recommend this experience.
