Auf dieser täglichen halbtägigen Weintour werden Sie zu malerischen Fahrten durch die malerischen Kapweinländer verwöhnt. Ob Sie ein erfahrener Weinliebhaber sind oder einfach nur neugierig auf das südafrikanische Kulturerbe Wein sind, dies ist die perfekte Art, das Kap in nur wenigen Stunden zu probieren. Die Touren finden täglich statt, morgens ab 8 Uhr und geben um 13 Uhr und nachmittags von 14 bis 19 Uhr ab.

Nachdem Sie von Ihrer Unterkunft abgeholt wurden, fahren wir nordöstlich aus Kapstadt heraus. Wir passieren einige der berüchtigtsten Townships Südafrikas und sprechen über das tägliche Leben der Einheimischen. Diese Townships sind auch der Geburtsort unseres einheimischen Künstlers. Dann fahren wir in die Stadt Stellenbosch. Sie ist bekannt als die zweitälteste Stadt des Landes und hat Eichen am Straßenrand. Eine der Straßen, Church Street, weist einige der ältesten Bauwerke der südlichen Hemisphäre auf. Ein Spaziergang durch diese Straßen vermittelt ein nostalgisches Gefühl, wie es war, hier früher herumzulaufen. Dann ist Wine O Clock. Die erste Weinprobe findet bei Marianne statt, wo der Rotwein mit Trockenfleisch kombiniert wird. Es ist Jerkey, aber der südafrikanische Begriff lautet „Biltong“. Zuletzt fahren wir nach Fairview, wo der Wein mit Käse kombiniert wird.

Die Straßen sind von Eichen gesäumt und bieten einen Einblick in die koloniale Vergangenheit. No information after making booking. No pick up or meeting information. Only after difficulty contacting the company was I given a meeting place In Stellenbosch. This was then changed 1hr before the tour and was asked to take a taxi for a 40min drive to the vineyard at my own expense after I had already travelled to the original pick up point. Very badly organised, no information about the tour and what was included. And unless I had tried to contact the company myself I don't think they would have bothered.

Wow what a day Leticia started with supers communication before the trip & things only got better once we met. Her joyful personality & knowledge were just fantastic. The vineyards we visited were just superb too. I cannot recommend this tour enough, so please don’t hesitate just book & have the best time.

I had a great experience. We tried a lot of different wines in two places, and I especially liked the cheese. My guide Cotlin was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a blast with her!

This experience was 5/5 for me. My accommodation was in central Cape Town, and Raheem picked me up and took me all the way out to Stellenbosch. Our drive over was both fun with personal conversation, but also deep in history about townships or anything that we passed. Our first wine stop had six wine tastings— 3 white and 3 red— paired with amazing cheese. Our second, we got to watch the sunset while we tasted five wines paired with biltong. Raheem knew exactly what he was doing and was so knowledgeable about everything in Cape Town. Do recommend as a fun afternoon or morning trip.

We did a 2 week tour to S Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Zimbabwe . This tour was rated a 5 star because of the guide/driver . Check out my reviews of the other tours . The driver/guide was very punctual, prompt, safe, a wealth of information, humorous and a great model to S Africans . Leticia was her name. We greatly enjoyed our tour and her company as she ensured that we enjoyed ourselves , was a safe driver and made us feel good (though we were probably high) from the vineyard tours . This was a classic example of a great small group tour that I will highly recommend .

We had a wonderful drive to the vineyards. We tasted so many delicious South African wines. They have special grapes and processing techniques that make their wines unique. Each Sommelier provided enlightening details about each tasting. Our guide did a fabulous job giving information about the area outside of Cape Town too. Highly recommend!!
