We are extremely happy and satisfied with this tour to Transnistria with Natalie, the weather is beautiful, the place is safe and the arrangement is super good and organised, but most out of all, Natalie is so knowledgable and helpful, we are so happy to have her as our tour guide today. This one day tour is highly recommended.
We had an amazing day with Natalia, who felt more like a friend showing us around her home than a typical tour guide. She was incredibly friendly and attentive to all our needs. A highlight was the delicious lunch at a themed restaurant that truly immersed us in the Soviet era. Every stop was fascinating, from the local markets where we sampled honey to the antique shops and even the supermarket—a practical but interesting stop for changing money! Also all sovietic buildings and the Bender castle were so worth the trip. Saw later on Instagram other places like astronaut mural and other buildings I would have like to see but I guess one day is short
We booked the "Transnistria Back in the USSR Tour" with Moldova Guided Tours, and it was hands down one of the absolute highlights of our trip! Our guide, Natalia, was incredibly sweet, warm, and welcoming. From the very first moment, she made sure we felt completely comfortable and happy. She has a wonderful personality, is highly knowledgeable, and showed us all the fascinating spots in Transnistria, bringing its unique history to life. In addition to being an outstanding guide, Natalia is a very safe and smooth driver. The entire journey from Chisinau and back was highly comfortable and completely stress-free. If you are planning to explore Transnistria, we highly recommend booking with Moldova Guided Tours—and definitely ask for Natalia! She made our trip truly unforgettable. Thank you so much for everything, Natalia! We truly hope to see you again! ❤️
My friends and I had this tour last May 1st and Natalia was our tour guide. It was such an excellent tour and it really brought us back during the time of the USSR! We learned about the history of Transnistria and Moldova. Natalia is such a great tour guide! She is a great and eloquent in explaining to us everything we need to know. She has a passion in her work. I highly recommend this tour to everyone and you’ll never regret!
We got picked up on time, got a message on what’s app when Valeri arrived. We didn’t have to think about anything, all was arrange, Valeri told us a lot about the history, we saw so many great things, had food in a local cantina (amazing food by the way) went to the fortress, and made small stops on the way for us. It was very professional, and well arranged! We really enjoyed the trip!
I went on this excursion to Transinistria thinking I would find a sort of Disneyland, but the country is quite different it is very interesting however small and the inhabitants are very attached to their traditions. I must say that Natalia's guide was absolutely fantastic and for me I suggest you use this agency which I then turned to for everything I had to do and they behaved in an extremely professional and at the same time courteous I do not know what can be said better.
We had an outstanding experience on my trip to Transnistria, thanks to an exceptional local guide Natalia whose depth of historical knowledge truly brought the region to life. Every detail, from Soviet-era landmarks to lesser-known cultural nuances, was explained with clarity, passion, and fascinating context that you simply wouldn’t find in a guidebook. What made the experience even more memorable was Natalias genuinely warm and friendly nature. From the very beginning, she created a welcoming atmosphere, making the tour feel personal rather than scripted. She were attentive, open to questions, and eager to share stories that reflected both the complexity and uniqueness of the region. This combination of expertise and kindness made the trip not only informative but also deeply enjoyable. I would highly recommend Natalia to anyone looking to explore Transnistria in a meaningful and engaging way. Thank you Natalie and warm regards
Had an amazing tour to Transnistria with Natalia. We could have not asked for a better guide, as she has a vast amount of knowledge about the area and its history and culture. She was able to show us so many great sights and gave us context to understand and form our own opinions. The lunch spot she chose was fantastic and we left full and happy. The tour itself is structured well and isn't too long. There is a good mix of driving and walking. Transnistria itself is not to be missed when visiting Moldova! It is safe to travel there and people were friendly and welcoming. Fully recommend this tour!
We had a fantastic time on this tour with Natalia. She was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. Always making sure that we were comfortable and happy. Trinistria was a unique place and definitely worth visiting. The culture was very interesting and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend this tour, particularly if Natalia is available to guide you!
