This experience was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Oman! We had traditional Omani dinner on my birthday. Although I didn’t mention that fact when I booked, Asaad completely surprised me with candles and a little cake! He went above and beyond to make my birthday feel personal and memorable. I couldn’t have asked for a more special way to celebrate my birthday. His hospitality made me feel not just like a guest, but like a cherished friend. Everything felt so peaceful and special. The food was absolutely delicious and deeply authentic. This experience was more than just a dinner in Muscat sands. It was a glimpse into Omani culture and traditions. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Muscat!

A beautiful evening was spent with my husband in Asaad, we ventured into the dessert, up in the hills with a stunning sunset view of Muscat. Asaad was extremely engaging (the best guide we had all holiday) he knew a lot of information about Muscat and we genuinely had a lovely few hours chatting away about everything. His English is very good! Asaads mom prepared a traditional Omani meal along with Arabic coffee and tea. The whole experience is authentic (sitting on the floor, order of food/drink etc) It was lovely to see a lot of locals doing the same thing, sitting out looking at the view and just enjoying some quiet time. Highly recommend this trip.

Asaad is a lovely host, I had such a great time throughout the entire experience. I learnt so much about Omani culture and traditions. Everything was great - the food, the views, the company and the surprise! Also, I'm a young solo female traveller and felt comfortable and safe. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone visiting Muscat.

Excellent short experience with Mr Asaad! I loved everything about this tour such as the dessert place with city view, friendly approach, proper quick arrangements without any delay, travel guidance, demonstration of the omani traditional methods and treated us like his own family members. Hoping to come back again and some days more with him. Thank you so much for everything you did for us and stay blessed.

Amazing trip with even better tour guide. I wanted to learn a bit about the Omani culture. From Asaad I learned a lot about the culture of Oman and cuisine. Asaad is really generous, passionate and helpful guy. You get an amazing view with tasty food and treats. The cuisine is homemade and is nothing short of amazing. I would say Oman trip is not completed with this activity. I would recommend this to everyone!

After meeting Asaad we were taken on a surprise drive (won't spoil the surprise here) to a beautiful view of Muscat. The entire evening was a wonderful expierence, from Asaad explaning his family and peoples culture to the delicious meal that was prepared for us. Asaad was very entertianing and we both enjoyed learning more about each others culture/lifestyles. Between the views and the banter with Asaad, it is a tour not to be missed when visiting Muscat

The best night i had in Muscat! :) Very unique and unforgettable experience :D I did this dinner tour with Asaad on my last night in Muscat. And I am very happy that I did this dinner tour not the other expensive ones at local homes. Asaad is very fun to be around with, kind, and smart. He came to pick me up at my hotel 5 mins early. I felt safe and i felt like i was just hanging out with a friend. :) He always made sure that I am comfortable all throughout the dinner tour. He took me to a quiet spot at the top of the desert sands and the experience was great as it was my first time to be driven on a 4 wheel drive in the sands. :) This tour is very cheap for the amount of food and services provided !! The foods he prepared were a lot and so delicious.. there were fruits, coffee, home made omani sweets and savoury foods, and some chips and drinks. He taught me a lot about Omani food culture while we were dining. And we also shared some of our personal stories over the food I actually forgot to take photos of the food because I enjoyed the night so much just talking and eating :D EVERYONE SHOULD BOOK THIS!! <3 <3
