Überraschenderweise ist in diesem Gebäude die ursprüngliche Holzbauweise der Brauerei erhalten geblieben, die vor etwa 200 Jahren errichtet wurde. Im Innenhof befindet sich ein Brunnen, aus dem man „Fushimizu“ trinken kann, das Wasser, das bei der Sake-Herstellung verwendet wird. Ähnlich wie der Sake aus Fushimi ist er unglaublich mild und köstlich – probieren Sie ihn doch einmal. Sie werden von seiner Geschmeidigkeit sicherlich begeistert sein. Im Ausstellungsraum können Sie traditionelle Werkzeuge zur Sake-Herstellung besichtigen, die von der Stadt Kyoto als materielle Volkskulturgüter ausgewiesen wurden. Ein spezieller Sake-Becher der Gekkeikan-Sake-Brauerei, inklusive einer Verkostung von drei Japanischen Sake-Sorten.
Es gibt eine Anlegestelle für ein Ausflugsboot namens „Jikokubune“. Von der Edo-Zeit bis zum Ende der Meiji-Zeit spielte dieses Schiff eine wichtige Rolle als logistischer Knotenpunkt zwischen Fushimi und Osaka. Damals dauerte es sieben Stunden mit dem Boot, um Menschen, Sake und Reis von Fushimi nach Osaka zu transportieren. Die Tour endet am Bootsanleger. Der Reiseleiter hilft Ihnen beim Kauf einer Fahrkarte, falls Sie die Bootsfahrt fortsetzen möchten.
Laden & Café „Fushimi Yumehyakushu“ Tatsächlich handelt es sich bei diesem Gebäude um den umgebauten ehemaligen Hauptsitz von Gekkeikan, der vor über 100 Jahren errichtet wurde. Im Laden finden Sie verschiedene Spirituosen und Souvenirs aus Kyoto, nicht nur von Gekkeikan. Wir bieten ein Verkostungsmenü mit drei verschiedenen Sake-Sorten an, inklusive einer Vorspeise. Wir wünschen Ihnen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt bei uns. Für alle, die erst diesen Sommer an unserer Tour teilgenommen haben, gibt es hier Sake-Eis gratis.
Kizakura ist bekannt für seine Sake-Werbespots mit Kappa-Figuren, ist aber auch das erste Unternehmen in Kyoto, das lokales Bier herstellt. Daher kann man in Fushimizugura nicht nur den Prozess der Sake-Herstellung besichtigen, sondern auch die Brauerei. Nach der Führung können Sie im schönen Innenhof Sake und Bier probieren. Wir servieren Ihnen hier ein Glas Kyoto Beer, damit Sie sich nach Ihrer Reise entspannen und erholen können.
Die Fushimizu SakeKura Koji wurde im März 2016 eröffnet. Dies ist ein Sake-Themenpark, in dem Sie lokalen Sake aus Fushimi und Gerichte aus ganz Japan genießen können. Dank der Unterstützung von 17 Brauereien, die dem Verband der Sake-Brauer von Fushimi angehören, können Sie in dieser Einrichtung rund 100 Sorten lokalen Sake aus Fushimi genießen.
Ich nehme dich mit ins ABURACYO, das sich im Einkaufsviertel von Fushimi befindet. Hier können Sie eine Auswahl von über 100 verschiedenen Sake-Sorten entdecken, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf Ginjo- und Daiginjo-Sake aus allen 18 Sake-Brauereien in Fushimi liegt. Die Kollektion umfasst nicht nur die regulären Modelle, sondern auch saisonale limitierte Auflagen. Außerdem können Sie an der Verkostungstheke im Laden ein Glas genießen oder drei verschiedene Sorten in kleinen Bechern vergleichen. Schon allein der Anblick der Flaschen kann ein wunderbares Erlebnis sein.

This tour was a great way to learn about the maki g of Sake and it's place in japanese culture. Bob was a great guide who had worked in a brewery. He could offer insights into what it was like to produce it and had interesting cultural observations as well.

We were 4 friends and our tour guide was so knowledgeable and helpful when we walked through the city and visited the tasting set of three types of Japanese sake (Gekkeikan Sake Brewery) company. After the tour we stopped at a Japanese Izakaya - pub type food and more sake tasting there!! He was great at helping us with the translation and ordering of food! We wouldn’t have been able to do this on our own as we did many things on our own trip but this was a necessary experience!!

My wife and I met up with Bob for our Sake walking tour. You do not want to drive after this one! The meet up place was very easy to get to from Kyoto Station. Once we got started on the walking tour it didn’t take long for each of us to get to know each other very well as we traversed between the different breweries and museums. My wife and I had a very delightful time. We discovered that Bob worked several seasons at a sake factory, learning the culture, trade and traditions of making Sake, which nicely accompanied his in depth knowledge of sake making down to the most minute detail of the process. We also learned quite a bit about how Kyoto became the center of the Sake industry. I must warn everyone, that understandably, the tour gets better after each stop! Hats off to Bob, we really appreciated the effort he put into our tour, if anyone is booking this tour in the future, you should ask for Bob.

This was an excellent tour that I highly recommend! Our tour guide Bob was very cool, fun and easy to talk to. He also used to work in a sake brewery and was an expert on both the process of producing sake and the different varieties we could try.
