Bei der Tour auf 2920 Metern gebe ich Ihnen die Möglichkeit, bis zur gesetzlich zulässigen Höchstgrenze auf dem Ätna zu klettern. Wir werden immer bei Ihnen sein, um Sie in diesen herrlichen Landschaften zu begleiten. Auf 2920 Metern sehen Sie vor sich den höchsten und aktivsten Krater des Vulkans Ätna: den Südostkrater. Es ist aufregend, an einem tiefen Krater entlang zu laufen und den Dampf in der Luft zu riechen, wir werden den Atem des Vulkans spüren!!!!

Ankunft im Rifugio Sapienza auf 2000 m. (Seilbahn-/Jeep-Tickets inbegriffen) Aufstieg mit der Seilbahn bis auf 2920 m Seehöhe. Begleitet von vulkanologischen – alpinen Führern (Krater von 2002 und implodierte Westflanke des Süd-/Ostkraters).
Weiter geht es zu Fuß mit einer leichten Wanderung entlang des Kamms der berühmten Krater von 2002/03. Die Barbagallo-Krater stellen den letzten Ausbruch dar, der seitliche Krater gebildet hat. Ein angenehmer Spaziergang, eine leichte Wanderung, die es uns ermöglicht, eine bezaubernde Landschaft zu genießen. Wir werden die Ostflanke des Südostkraters sehen
Sie sehen den letzten Abschnitt des Lavastroms von 1992, der die Tore von Zafferana erreichte, und unternehmen eine kurze Wanderung auf den berühmten Lavagesteinen vom Typ „AA“.
Beim Besuch einer Vulkanhöhle betreten Sie einen aus Lava geformten Tunnel, eine Aktivität, die für jedermann geeignet ist. Wir stellen Ihnen einen Helm, eine Taschenlampe und eine Schutzkappe zur Verfügung.
Wir werden der Farm Oro d'Etna einen Besuch abstatten, Honig, Öl und 3 Weinproben (Etna rosso DOC, Etna bianco DOC und Etna Rosato Doc) probieren, bei denen wir die Mineralität der Ätna-Weine entdecken können

Brilliant tour with an excellent guide, Gaetano. Everything went smoothly from making the booking , all communication and meeting Gaetano on the day. Fascinating insight into the history of Etna and its eruptions and relationship with Sicily. The cable car gave amazing views and, as its was snowy when we went, the caterpillar trucks were a great experience. The tours up to the craters are fascinating and on the descent to go in a lava tube, see some of the volcanic landscapes and to try some local produce just add to a fantastic day, well worth the price and highly recommended.
Ornella was a fantastic guide.. Not only did we have an amazing experience on the volcano - but we learned huge amounts about Sicily and Sicilian culture - and had lots of fun. Would wholeheartedly recommend
Wonderful day—guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend. However, a bit concerning Mt Etna erupted 2 days after we were there! 😳
Our guide, Daniela, was fantastic. She is very passionate about Etna and that came through. Very knowledgeable. Excellent English. Cable car was very exciting! Mount Etna itself is an amazing sight. Lots of photographic opportunities. Leisurely walk of about 30 mins. Highly recommended!

Simone picked us up from our agreed meeting point on time and we were later joined by another couple in the jeep. He was knowledgeable and spoke good English, explaining about Etna and the history. We needed to hire jackets as it was very cold once we had traveled in the cable car, to take a bus to a higher level. Unfortunately a combination of fog and wind meant we did not have a good view, but the weather is what it is!! The caves were an interesting experience with a useful explanation regarding how they came to be formed The wine and honey tasting was just in a local shop Fortunately because of our early start (7.30) we avoided a lot of the crowds Thank you Simone

Great trip on top of Mt.Etna (2920 mt.). We were lucky to experience vulcano activity, like explosions and smoke. Our guide, Tomasso, was very nice and helpful, giving us a lot of information about the vulcano and about Catania.

Really enjoyed this trip, Simone was a really knowledgeable guide & gave us loads of information on the journey to Etna & as we went up the cable car. There were only 4 of us on this part which was really good. Once we had left the cable car the next part of the trip I'd in the 4x4 vehicles towards the summit, where other offical guides take over, this guide also gave us lots of information. A number of groups join together for this part of the excursion so less easy to hear what was being said. Fascinating tour & well worth it for the views. On the one we did there wasn't much walking at the top, which was what we wanted.

It was an amazing day. Our guide was very cautios, polite and paid attention to our needs. The tour contained everything we imagined, the timing (start of the tour, arrivals to tour points) was perfect everywhere. The guide was fluent in English, biology, dangers in life (sharks, laba cobras 🤣🤣), he had excellent sense of humour and we had lots of fun. He was also enthusiastic of Etna and it has just enhances our joy and fun. Total worth every euros and cents. This tour maximizes the fun and entertainment of Etna.

Enjoyed the tour, and knowledgeable guide added to whole experience. Pretty straightforward, drive to 2000 meter where there is a whole tourism type set up with shops and parking. Get cable car to 2500 mtr and then 4WD bus to 2750mtr which is furthest you can go. Short walk to ox crator. Cave was a bit underwhelming but interesting to learn how they form and the extent to which they riddle the area. Visit for honey tasting was also good and bought some local fare. Points to note, need light jacket as temp drops the higher you go. No harm in taking a packed lunch. Can be cloudy/misty at 2750mtr so you may not really see much. If misty do keep every one in sight as can get lost.
