Wandern am Limiopungo-See im Cotopaxi-Nationalpark, der Heimat eines der höchsten aktiven Vulkane der Welt. Dort können Sie die Limpiopungo-Lagune am Fuße eines Vulkans besuchen und neben dem Vulkan auch einige Pflanzenarten beobachten
Transfer vom Cotopaxi-Nationalpark zum Cañon del Río Toachi. (2:30) Hier können wir ein paar Fotos machen und der Führer wird Ihnen die Formationen erklären, die das Produkt pyroklastischer Ströme sind, deren Quelle der Vulkan Quilotoa war (0:30). Die Materialien, die die Basis des Canyons bilden, sind Bimssteine, Lapillis und Vulkanbomben. Die Emission dieser Ströme hat ein geschätztes Alter von 1800 Jahren.
Sie erreichen den Krater und den darin befindlichen See. Der Reiseführer erklärt Ihnen seinen Ursprung und die Flora dieser Zone. Wenn der Tag klar ist, können Sie die gesamte Landschaft von der Spitze des Kraters aus sehen und wenn die Uhrzeit angezeigt wird ist genug möglich, um zum See hinunterzugehen und Boot zu fahren (nicht inbegriffen)

Fantastic tour guide. Very informative and super interesting. Was also very impressive in answering questions about local history and culture.
We did this tour on our first full day in Ecuador to travel to Baños, and we’re so happy we did! After this tour, we felt that we could leave Ecuador satisfied having seen most every landscape the country has to offer. Erick and our driver; Manuel, were incredibly kind and explained everything thoroughly. The car was comfortable, and they have the perfect built in stops for food/bathrooms so you feel yourself the entirety of the tour, no matter if you have altitude sickness or not. Overall, highly recommend to anyone looking to travel in Ecuador, you won’t regret your day with Erick and Manuel!
An excellent experience! The guide Jose was fantastic! Spent the whole day trying to see the Cotopaxi volcano that was always covered until at the end of the day we got it. This one-way tour is great for those who travel from one city to another without losing what is in the middle
Wowwwwww is what went through our minds for pretty much the entire day. Ricardo took us (with Jefferson safely driving us) everywhere the itinerary said it would and gave us a wealth of information about those places. The lagoon was absolutely breathtaking. Eating lunch at a Quechuan family’s home/restaurant was a great experience. Despite a blackout, they were able to cook us a great meal. I really wanted a stuffed llama and am so glad I bought it there. I paid $10 and saw the same size one at the airport for $35!! It was very cold at Cotopaxi and Quilotoa and I was thankful I had my North Face puffer and fleece with me. We were dropped off right at our hotel in Baños as planned. Everything went without a hitch!

Our family had a wonderful tour from Quito to Banos with Erick and WanderBus. They customised the tour to give us more time in Banos so there was a rest day with a child. On the travelling days we packed in so many amazing sights, including Cotopaxi, Quilotoa and then many brilliant and fun attractions around Banos - a combination of adventure and beautiful scenery. Every stop was worthwhile and thoughtfully chosen. Erick was a great guide, knowledgeable, courteous, patient and good fun. His English was excellent and he was happy to answer all our questions about Ecuador. We fully recommend using WanderBus and Erick for guided tours. Three magical days we’ll not forget!

Great full day trip. Our guide was Paul and from pickup at our hotel, to our stops at Cotopaxi and Quilotoa and drop off at the door of our hotel in Banos our trip was awesome. We stopped at Rondador Cotopaxi on our way into Cotopaxi, great fresh food in a pastoral setting- the host was friendly. We worked our way around Cotopaxi and a short hike around a highland lake. From there we headed to Quilotoa, a beautiful volcanic crater lake, had late lunch at a restaurant across from the crater. On the way to Banos stopped for some ice cream- We were safely delivered to our hotel in Banos- Paul and his assistant were knowledgeable and spoke excellent English- We recommend this trip.
