Tour Jawahir 2 Tage-1 Nacht in Wahiba Sands, Oman Tours Package

A wonderful, fully guided tour. Our guide, Ahmed, knew so much and was sure to give us the best experience possible. As a female travelling alone with her pre-teen daughter it can be daunting but Ahmed ensured we were comfortable and then tweaked the visits to give my daughter the best time and most enjoyable experiences. Joining us for the Wadi swims he was able to encourage and reassure. I genuinely can't thank him enough for making this more than just a series of stops! Enjoying nature and the wonderful, changing scenery in this part of a stunning country was unbelievable; Wadi Bin Khalid and Wadi Shad are hidden gems and the magical cave at the end of Wadi Shad can only be believed if you go there yourself. Wahiba sands is a completely different experience which and I recommend and if you get a chance to visit the Bedouin house, take it. A visit to the small, but informative, maritime museum at Sur was really interesting and yet another aspect of Oman that many may not realise. I can only say that you've got to try this experience - it is an adventure from the first to the last minute. Oh, and try all the different Chai Teas!

We (2 adults and 2 kids of 4 and 8) did the Jawahir tour (wadi Ben Khalid, wahiba sands, one night in desert camp, Sour, wadi shab, sinkhole) and we loved it. Our guide Khaled was so perfect : He was so nice with us, so patient with the kids, so careful during the walk in wadi shab. He explained us the history of Oman and proposed us two Omani lunches. The tour was well organized and fitted with the program. So wonderful to play and sleep in the desert, so extraordinary to walk and swim in wadi shab (the cave is magical), so delicious to lunch Omani food. We and the kids loved it.
