Bernal wurde als magische Stadt anerkannt und ist eine wahre Oase der Ruhe, ideal zum Ausruhen, um der Hektik zu entfliehen und Energie zu tanken. Die Stadt Bernal ist ein kleiner Ort, aber Sie können ihn besuchen. Hier finden Sie Kunsthandwerksläden, Woll- und Deckenprodukte und typische Süßigkeiten. Von jeder Ecke aus können Sie die majestätische Peña de Bernal bewundern, die laut ihrer Aussage voller Energie ist.
Seine Berühmtheit verdankt er seinem berühmten Monolithen, von dem wir Ihnen nur einige seiner interessantesten Details erzählen möchten: 1. Es ist der drittgrößte Monolith der Welt, der nur vom Felsen von Gibraltar auf der Iberischen Halbinsel und dem Zuckerhut in Rio de Janeiro übertroffen wird. 2. Er erreicht eine Höhe von mehr als 350 Metern. 3. Es wird gesagt, dass es sich um einen Vulkan aus dem Känozoikum handelte, dessen Magma stagnierte und vor Millionen von Jahren erstarrte. 4. Viele Leute halten es für eine Energiequelle, weshalb es am 21. März besucht wird. 5. Die Einwohner von Bernal haben eine durchschnittliche Lebenserwartung von 94,7 Jahren. 6. Auf dem Gelände gibt es etwa 30 Höhlen, die den Forschern zufolge von den Chichimecas als Zufluchtsort genutzt wurden. 7. Es gibt über 1300 Jahre alte Höhlenmalereien, die den Chichimecas zugeschrieben werden. 8. Es wird eine Höhe von 2.510 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel berechnet. 9. Es gilt als eines der 13 Naturwunder Mexikos.
Der Besuch dieser magischen Stadt ist ein einzigartiges Erlebnis, da sie den Eingang zur Sierra Gorda von Queretaro bildet. Es handelt sich um eine Gemeinde mit großer geografischer Vielfalt: Im Süden herrscht ein Halbwüstenklima und im Norden Wälder. Aufgrund seiner Geschichte und des Zaubers, den es von den Ureinwohnern der Region geerbt hat, sowie seiner vielfältigen Touristenattraktionen wurde es 2011 zur „Magischen Stadt“ ernannt.
Einer der 20 bedeutendsten botanischen Gärten Mexikos, gegründet am 25. April 1991. Der Garten beherbergt fünf botanische Sammlungen: die Halbwüste, die Kakteen von Querétaro, die Vegetation des Querétaro-Tals, die Gattung Mammillaria in Mexiko und Agaven von Querétaro. Dieser Ort, der für die Zahl der dort künstlich vermehrten gefährdeten Arten bekannt ist, erinnert uns als Familie daran, wie wichtig es ist, auf unsere Umwelt zu achten. Es gibt auch ein Wildnisgebiet und ein paar Aussichtspunkte am Fuße einer Klippe aus Vulkangestein, ca. 50 m hoch und rahmt den wissenschaftlichen Sammlungsbereich ein.

We really enjoyed the opportunity to spend our last day in Mexico visting the tranguillo Pueblos Magico. It was well worth the price to have someone else do the driving so we could enjoy the view of the beautiful landscape of the state of Queterao. Thomas was a great guide explaining the floral and fauna and answering our questions as we went. Next time I will have a bigger suitcase as these towns have beautiful handmade crafts including wool items, handmade baskets, clothing, and Lela dolls. Save space if you do this tour late in your vacation as the quality of the craftmanship in these towns is better than other places.

The Magic Towns tour was excellent. Despite the limited time I had for the tour, our guide Alfredo did everything possible to make the most of it. This excursion is definitely worth it.

This tour was not quiet what we expected. We booked the shorter tour (5 hrs) because we didn't want to be gone so long and the tour ended up being 8-9 hrs. Thomas was a good tour guide, but there were 4 people crammed into a small car. My sister and I and another women had to sit 3 in the back seat. The towns were nice, but nothing really special. They were very touristy. The highlight was the cacti farm which was fasinating. The mega rock in Bernal was also interesting.

Pueblos mágicos de Queretaro was a good option to do if you happen to visit Queretaro. Great scenery, good food prices and cuisine, history and culture. We traveled with Tomas our guide with Queretaro Tours. He is a great guide. Thank you Tomàs for a great trip.

I loved it!!!, ideal destination to escape all the bustle and stress of the day, for those looking for a quiet place and contact with nature, there are many hotels that are in the center, in particular we stayed in one that has a spectacular view of the crag: Quinta Mirador Zacualli, very quiet, beautiful, with pool, a delicious coffee, they also have several cats and as I love them because I was happy; down the street you reach the main avenue where there are many options for renting razzer; and two blocks is the center with its main square and the temple of San Sebastian in between. At night there is a restaurant-bar area where you can dine very rich. The viewpoint and rock climbing the best, I recommend wearing comfortable clothes and tennis or hiking shoes.

The tour is super good, full of information, curious facts and obviously, the most beautiful magical villages, our guide Berenice, amazing, always attentive and giving us the best information and explanation. It was great.

We thought that we’d be in a group with other people but this ended up being a private tour just for us that our guide, Tomas, was able to customize to our needs. Highly recommend!
