Der Tag beginnt mit einem schönen Frühstücksbuffet, um die nötige Energie für die Aktivitäten des Tages zu tanken. Danach gibt es den ganzen Tag Wasseraktivitäten. Wir beginnen die Tour mit den warmen Becken, die in den Berghang geätzt wurden, und gehen später hinunter zum türkisfarbenen Thermalfluss, wo wir an seinen Ufern ein entspanntes Mittagessen genießen können. Nach dem Mittagessen springen wir in das warme Wasser des Flusses, bevor wir uns zu den herrlichen Wasserfällen und Höhlen begeben. Bevor wir die Höhlen betreten, bewundern wir die Aussicht auf die Wasserfälle, die die natürlichen Höhlen bewachen, die wir erkunden werden. In den Höhlen werden wir mit unseren Lampen durch das warme Wasser wandern, das aus dem Inneren strömt, die inneren Wasserfälle erkunden und den Ursprungsort des Wassers beobachten, das Tolantongo seinen Namen gibt. Tolantongo, was „Ort des warmen, fließenden Wassers“ bedeutet, wird Ihnen ein unvergleichliches Erlebnis in Mexiko bescheren. (Die Erkundung von Flüssen und Höhlen hängt von gutem Wetter in den Tagen zuvor ab, um ein optimales Erlebnis zu ermöglichen.)

Nach der Abreise fahren wir nach Tequisquiapan (90 Minuten). Vegetarierfreundliche Optionen mit begrenzten veganen Optionen. Das Frühstück geht auf uns. Nach dem Frühstück (40 Minuten) fahren wir weiter nach Tolantongo (120 Minuten).
Ruhe am Pool (2 Stunden): Beginnen Sie Ihr Erlebnis mit einer entspannten Zeit in den „Pocitos“; Natürlich warme Thermalbecken, die eine atemberaubende Aussicht bieten, die Körper und Geist beruhigen und klären – perfekt für „das Gramm“. Für den Übergang zum Fluss besteht die Möglichkeit einer Seilrutsche, die nicht im Preis inbegriffen ist (250 mexikanische Pesos). Mittagessen (30 Minuten): Tischpicknick am Fluss (wetterabhängig). Bestellen Sie das Mittagessen im örtlichen Restaurant vor und lassen Sie sich am Fluss nieder. Das Mittagessen ist NICHT im Preis inbegriffen. Entspannung am Fluss (2 Std.): Als nächstes geht es an den türkisfarbenen Fluss, der gut bewirtschaftet wird und aufgrund der Thermalquellen von Natur aus warm ist – ein rundum entspannendes Erlebnis. Höhlenerkundung (60 Minuten): Sie werden beeindruckende Wasserfälle und unerwartete Abenteuer sehen, die unsere Gäste als „lebensverändernd“ beschrieben haben. Unsere Guides begleiten Sie bei der Erkundung der hier befindlichen Höhlen und Tunnel. Genießen Sie die Wasserfälle, die die Höhlen bedecken, und schwimmen Sie im warmen Pool im Berg. Wir werden um 17:30 Uhr losfahren.
Fahrt auf dem Weg nach Huichapan (90 Minuten). Stretch Stop: Toiletten- und Stretchpause. Weiterfahrt nach San Miguel de Allende (120 Minuten)

We had a wonderful time. We were so surprised by the grandeur of the river valley and the experience of exploring and swimming in the caves. The mountain side pools were relaxing and gorgeous. A must do experience!
If at all possible, request Diego when you book this excursion. He was right on time, very friendly and quite willing to share his knowledge of the surrounding area and culture. He explained everything we would experience and was there to lend a hand where necessary. Make sure you stand under the falls in the cave for a natural massage.
Grutas Tolantongo itself is a breathtaking destination with stunning turquoise waters, relaxing thermal pools, caves, and beautiful mountain views. Diego helped us make the most of our time there and provided a great tour with wonderful conversation. He made the long drive enjoyable, shared interesting information along the way, and ensured everyone felt comfortable and safe. Every moment was absolutely magical. Highly recommend - you will enjoy every moment!

Thank you for allowing me to join the existing tour at the last minute, and to the family that agreed to have me on their tour. It was excellent to see Tolantongo before the Easter crush. An easy and enjoyable full day excursion from San Miguel de Allende with door-to-door transport. Diego was the guide, and he demonstrated excellent driving skills, smiling connection with all the local providers, knowledgeable information, and smooth provision of all the things - snacks/drinks/chairs/backpacks/timing … all the things seen and unseen that make a tour enjoyable and relaxed because someone is working hard behind the scenes. This is a very professional tour experience, but one that feels personal and bespoke. I enjoyed all elements of the destination, and although heavily touristed (for obvious reasons because it is so good!!) the natural beauty and existence of really hot thermal springs was so good to visit. The full moon following us home topped off the perfect day.
This was an awesome trip! 3 kids (8,6 and 4) and one senior citizen were also in our group and they all had a blast. The variety of things to do there was an awesome surprise and our tour guides literally thought of everything- from blankets for the van ride, to a beautiful riverside picnic at the end of the day, and headlamps etc.
This was a wonderful experience! Our tour guide was very friendly and we never felt rushed. I will be returning!
4 of us took the tour from San Miguel to Tolantongo at the end of January 2926z Christian was our driver and tour guide. From the minute he picked us up, we had a wonderful time. He was kind, informative, patient and his English was very good. It was worth the money and the time. The pools, caves and river were so beautiful. They looked like they’d been photoshopped. Thank you Christian for making our day and happy memories.
