Dieser verzauberte und abgeschiedene Park ist das sichere Paradies für viele verschiedene Tierarten, die nicht nur in Costa Rica, sondern auch auf dem amerikanischen Kontinent heimisch sind. Wenn wir durch die Gewässer der versteckten Lagunen und Kanäle reisen, während die blühenden, mit Weinreben bedeckten Bäume mit ihrer eigenen Wasserreflexion verschmelzen, werden wir das einzigartige Erlebnis haben, verschiedene Arten von Flora und Fauna so nah wie möglich zu beobachten. Es ist leicht, verschiedene Arten von Krokodilen, Tukanen, Affen, Meerkatzen, Aras, Leguanen und einigen anderen zu beobachten. Unter diesen Arten finden wir die majestätische Grüne Meeresschildkröte (Chelonia mydas), die in Tortuguero einen 21 Meilen langen Strand zum Nisten hat (Juli bis Oktober); der größte Nistplatz der westlichen Hemisphäre. Tortuguero gilt als wichtigster Nistplatz der Grünen Meeresschildkröte in der Westhälfte der Karibik, die jedes Jahr zum Nisten an den Strand kommt. . Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Nisttour nur nachts stattfindet und Sie während dieser eintägigen Tour keine am Strand nistenden Schildkröten sehen werden.

Während wir fahren, sehen wir zuerst die Kaffeeplantagen, dann fahren wir in die Berge des Braulio Carrillo Nationalparks, wo steile Hänge mit dichtem Nebelwald bedeckt sind und von der Straße aus wunderschöne Wasserfälle zu sehen sind.
Wir verlassen unseren Bus und begeben uns auf den aufregendsten Teil dieser Tour: die Bootsfahrt in den Dschungel des Tortuguero-Nationalparks, wo wir lernen, wie die Natur funktioniert, und ein echtes Gefühl für unseren tropischen feuchten Regenwald bekommen. Auf einer Fläche von 29.000 Hektar. Tortuguero ist einer der wichtigsten Nistplätze von Chelonia Midas, der grünen Meeresschildkröte. Wo in seinen Wäldern und Wasserstraßen solche gefährdeten Säugetiere wie Faultiere, Affen, Agoutis, Coatimundis und Seekühe leben. Es gibt auch reichlich Vögel wie Tukane, Trogons, Reiher, Reiher und Aninghas sowie Krokodile, Schildkröten und unzählige bunte Schmetterlinge, einschließlich blauer Morpho. Am Mittag genießen Sie ein herzhaftes typisches Mittagsbuffet, um den hungrigsten Appetit zu stillen. It is a long day but is definitely worth it. We saw all of the wild animals we were hoping to see and our guides were very knowledgeable.

We had a great time on this tour! Saw so many cool animals. Friendly and very knowledgeable team. Only four of us plus the guide. It was a long drive out but worth it. Would definitely recommend!

Our guide Al was amazing! He was so excited to point out all the flora and fauna along the way to Limon province. He even brought some delicious local fruit for our group to try. We really enjoyed the river cruise as well as the hike in the jungle. The village of Tortuguero was very interesting too. Highly recommend!

This was a premium experience, pickup in private car, super comfy and nice and cool. Our guide and driver drove our party of 3. We stopped and saw Sloths thanks to eagle eye guide. We had great informative conversations about Costa Rica which only enriched our experience. When we got to tortuguerro we began our bout ride which was a blast, breakfast and lunch was great very cool Tico stops. I could say more but will leave some of the cool stuff for you to see yourself, it's a great tour job at book it for a super cool experience. Thank you Ronnie, and Ronnie#2 (our boat captain. It is a nice and interesting day trip. Firstly the boat trip on the river is very interesting , along the river we were able to see a lot small animals, birds, even crocodiles. The only thing I hope it can be improved is the meals.

It was fun, we ended up only have us 2 and 1 other person. The tour was good, we had to rush because the roads opened late. Not to the fault of our driver/guide. I would say this one section is very physically asking. So be aware that if they tell you to walk up the steps, if you feel it’s not right for you physically, don’t push yourself to do it. However very nice tour :)

The driver with the van was 1h30' late, the whole planning of the guide went wrong and the planned activities did not take place. Because we left too late we ended up in traffic jams on the way back which took another 2h time delayed. I would definitely not book another trip with tripadvisor. It was one of the worst outings we did in Costa Rica.
