Der Freiheitsplatz, früher als Erivansky- oder Paskevich-Erivansky-Platz unter dem russischen Kaiserreich und Beria-Platz und Lenin-Platz unter der Sowjetunion bekannt, befindet sich im Zentrum von Tiflis am östlichen Ende der Rustaveli-Straße.
Altstadt
Die Anchiskhati-Basilika St. Mary ist die älteste erhaltene Kirche in Tiflis, Georgien. Es gehört zur georgisch-orthodoxen Kirche und stammt aus dem sechsten Jahrhundert.
Eine der neuesten Attraktionen in Tiflis ist die Friedensbrücke, die 2010 über dem Fluss Mtkvari (auch als Kura bekannt) eröffnet wurde.
Am 7. Juni 2009 wurde in Tiflis ein Denkmal für den herausragenden armenischen Dichter und Musiker und berühmten Ashugh Sayat-Nova (Harutyun Sayadian) eröffnet. Die Skulptur von Guya Djaparidze und Kokha Koridze befindet sich in der Nähe der Nordwand der armenischen St. Kevork-Kirche. In derselben Kirche versteckte sich Sayat - Nova gemeinsam mit anderen Christen während des Angriffs von Schah Aga Mohamed Kadjar im Jahr 1795. Sayat - Nova wurde vor der Haustür dieser Kirche getötet und dort begraben.

Am 23. Juni 2012 wurde in Tiflis eine neue Pendelbahn eröffnet. Es verbindet den neu errichteten Rike-Park, der sich direkt gegenüber der Altstadt über dem Fluss Mtkvari befindet, mit Narikala, der Festung mit Blick auf die Stadt
Die Mariä-Entschlafens-Kathedrale in Sioni ist eine georgisch-orthodoxe Kathedrale in Tiflis, der Hauptstadt Georgiens. In Anlehnung an die mittelalterliche georgische Tradition, Kirchen nach bestimmten Orten im Heiligen Land zu benennen, trägt die Sioni-Kathedrale den Namen des Berges Zion in Jerusalem.
Kartlis Deda ist ein Denkmal in der georgischen Hauptstadt Tiflis. Die Statue wurde 1958 auf dem Hügel Sololaki errichtet, in dem Jahr, in dem Tiflis sein 1500-jähriges Bestehen feierte. Der bekannte georgische Bildhauer Elguja Amashukeli entwarf die 20 Meter lange Aluminiumfigur einer Frau in georgischer Nationaltracht.
Die Freitagsmoschee (Jumah auf Arabisch) befindet sich im Herzen der Altstadt von Tiflis. Nicht nur die Architektur ist einzigartig und Sie werden wahrscheinlich auf den ersten Blick nicht merken, dass es sich um eine Moschee handelt, sondern auch um eine der wenigen Moscheen der Welt, in denen Schiiten und Sunniten gemeinsam beten. Die Moschee ist offen für Besucher aller Religionen und Glaubensrichtungen.
Der Rike Park ist ein öffentliches Erholungsgebiet in Tiflis, das bei Familien, Touristen und Einwohnern beliebt ist, um einen Spaziergang zu unternehmen
Die Skulptur eines Mannes mit einem Horn in Tiflis ist einer alten kolchischen Statuette nachempfunden, die liebevoll als "Tamada" bezeichnet wird.

My trip in this experience was with Mr. Koba. We did meet in the time and the place with no delay. Our journey was beyond exceptional. It was solo, but I felt that I was with a friend rather than a guide. You will walk an amazing journey with rich history of Georgia and tiblisi specifically. My first day in Tblisi was a cold rainy day, but I was fortunate enough to have the best tour guide. Khatuna was there to pick me up and take me on two tours back to back (this one and the Brutalist Architecture Tour). She was able to point out all the highlights and made the two tours most enjoyable under extremely trying circumstances. Our tour guide, Aleksi, was really patient with us. Traveling with a toddler has its’perks’ but he made us feel at ease when she started getting a little fussy. He took us round old and new Tbilisi, with very detailed knowledge of iconic heritage. He was very helpful with wadding off the very many goods sellers wanting to sell to tourists. He helped negotiate price as well which I found very admirable considering they spoke same language and from same place. Overall, a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend this to first timers in Tbilisi.
