Das Denkmal in der Nähe der Dry Bridge zeigt lebendige, ausdrucksstarke Figuren in Bewegung, die den Geist der Freiheit und Rebellion des Festivals symbolisieren. Es ehrt Georgiens reiche kulturelle Traditionen und die bleibende Kraft des künstlerischen Ausdrucks.
Das älteste Kirchengebäude in Tiflis ist eine dreischiffige Basilika aus dem 6. Jahrhundert.
Die relativ neu errichtete Friedensbrücke ist ein Muss in Tiflis. Eine bogenförmige Brücke aus Glas und Stahl überspannt den Fluss Mtkwari (Kura) in der georgischen Hauptstadt.
In Tiflis ist die Shardeni-Straße eine kleine Fußgängerzone im Bezirk Upper Kala, zwischen dem Wachtang-Gorgasali-Platz und der Sioni-Straße.

Die Tamada-Statue in Tiflis ist eine Bronzeskulptur eines traditionellen georgischen Toastmeisters, der ein Weinhorn (kantsi) in einer klassischen Toastgeste hält. In der Altstadt in der Nähe der Sioni-Kathedrale gelegen, symbolisiert es die reiche Weinkultur Georgiens und die Bedeutung supra (georgischer Fest) Traditionen. Die Statue ist inspiriert von einer alten Tamada-Figur, die in Vani gefunden wurde und die über 2000 Jahre alt ist und zeigt, wie tief die Rolle des Toastmasters in der georgischen Geschichte verwurzelt ist.
Das von der georgischen Künstlerin Elguja Amashukeli geschaffene Denkmal steht stolz vor der Metechi-Kirche und blickt auf den Fluss Mtkvari (Kura).
Wir werden sehen, wie EU-Flaggen vom Wind verweht werden. Georgien strebt schon seit Jahrzehnten eine EU-Mitgliedschaft an. Unser Ziel ist für jeden sichtbar, der Tiflis besucht.
Das Gebäude der Großen Synagoge befindet sich im alten historischen Viertel von Tiflis. Es wurde von 1895 bis 1903 von georgischen Juden aus Achalzihe erbaut.
Ein Künstler namens David Monavardishvili hat 2016 ein wunderschönes Denkmal geschaffen. Wir können herausfinden, was ihn inspiriert hat. Vielleicht war es der Lebensstil in Tiflis früher? Das Denkmal ist ziemlich beeindruckend und Sie werden herausfinden, wie der Künstler es geschaffen hat.
Wir setzen unsere Reise mit einer Seilbahn fort. Den Gipfel des Berges erreichen wir mit der Seilbahn, wo wir atemberaubende Ausblicke genießen können.
Der Rike-Park ist das Zentrum von Tiflis. Von hier aus fahren wir mit der Seilbahn auf den Berg.
Das Denkmal „Mutter von Georgia“ blickt stolz auf die Stadt. Alle georgischen Frauen werden durch das Denkmal repräsentiert.

We had an amazing day exploring the city. Teona was such a good guide. She was really friendly and easygoing. I would highly recommend it!
What a wonderful guide Teona is. She is very knowledgeable about Tbilisi and its very interesting history. What was particularly fascinating was Teona's vision of Georgia's future and the country's ability to cater to the East and/or the West. Our tour was never rushed and Teona took the time to clarify our questions as first-time visitors of Georgia while we toured the different areas of the Old Town. If you are ever in the area, I cannot recommend Teona's tour highly enough. We certainly left Tbilisi knowing more thanks to Teona's knowledge and local expertise of the town. By the way, after the tour, Teona shared the names of several places to shop, eat or visit that was very helpful for the remainder of our visit! Ts'avedit!!
Had such a lovely day on this tour and I’m really glad I booked it. An awesome walking tour of this gem of a city! Teona was so knowledgable - about both history and modern culture.
