Obwohl es in Armenien verschiedene historische Sehenswürdigkeiten gibt, ist der älteste und bekannteste wahrscheinlich der biblische Berg Ararat. Ein Ort, der in Armenien nicht zu übersehen ist, ist das Kloster Tatev, das einst das erzieherische und spirituelle Zentrum Armeniens war. Es ist auf einem Hochplateau in der Vorotan River Gorge gebaut und ist umgeben von atemberaubenden Bergen und dichten Wäldern. Sie erreichen die weltgrößte Seilbahn Wings of Tatev.

Das Kloster Khor Virap befindet sich etwa eine Autostunde von der Hauptstadt Eriwan entfernt und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf das Wahrzeichen Armeniens - das majestätische Ararat. "Khor Virap" bedeutet "tiefer Kerker" und wurde an der Stelle des ehemaligen königlichen Gefängnisses errichtet, das sich an der historischen Stätte von Artashat befindet. Es war genau dieses Gefängnis, in dem Gregor der Erleuchter, der erste armenische Katholikos, 13 Jahre lang festgehalten wurde. Daher ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass dieser Ort einer der heiligsten Orte für Armenier auf der ganzen Welt ist. Ebenso ist es der nächstgelegene Punkt zum Berg Ararat aus Armenien. Sehr oft wird dieser Ort zum Hauptgrund, unser Land zu besuchen!
Die Tour führt Sie zur Vogelhöhle. Im Jahr 2008 entdeckten Archäologen mehrere der ältesten Artefakte der Welt, darunter einen Lederschuh und ein Weingut. Der Ort mit Blick auf den Fluss Arpa in der Nähe der Stadt Areni soll größtenteils aus der frühen Bronzezeit (vor etwa 5.000 bis 6.000 Jahren) stammen. Es enthält auch Hinweise auf aufwändige Bestattungsrituale und landwirtschaftliche Praktiken.
Neben Khor Virap ist Noravank ein weiterer Ort, den man nicht verpassen sollte. Es ist eines der Juwelen der mittelalterlichen armenischen Architektur und liegt hoch zwischen den atemberaubenden ziegelroten Klippen am Ende des Gnishik-Canyons. Hier sehen Sie die einzige Darstellung von Gott dem Vater in Armenien, die genauso erstaunlich ist wie das Antlitz Jesu Christi, das auf der Kuppel des Narthex der Kirche erschien. Es wurde von orbelianischen Adligen erbaut und ist unter unseren Kirchen das Grab dieser Adelsfamilie. Es ist einzigartig, da es seit dem 5. Jahrhundert absolut verboten war, Menschen in einer Kirche zu begraben.
Die längste Seilbahn der Welt (ca. 6 km), die 2010 im Guinness-Buch der Rekorde eingetragen wurde. Während Ihrer Fahrt genießen Sie einen spektakulären Blick über einen der schönsten Orte Armeniens (wenn nicht in) die Welt).
Ein Ort, den man in Armenien nicht verpassen sollte, ist das Tatev-Kloster, das einst das pädagogische und spirituelle Zentrum Armeniens war. Es wurde auf einem Hochplateau in der Vorotan-Schlucht erbaut und ist von atemberaubenden Bergen und dichten Wäldern umgeben.

The tour guide is very professional and very atmospheric, making it easy for everyone to interact. The car is comfortable, it is worth visiting the place, and finally go to a place selling Portuguese wine to try wine, although not my favorite taste, but still can try it, the price is reasonable.

We had a small group with Anastasia and she treated us like family. She was engaged, educational, and funny. Edgar our driver was quite impressive. The sights were stunning and the wine tasting was fun and not too long after lunch. And the spot we stop at for lunch is absolutely beautiful, on a small lake. Would do a tour with this group again!

Armenia is stunningly beautiful and such a different country! We are very lucky to have a guide - Anastasia is insanely interesting about the history of the country and its culture. Recently we were on 4 excursions from this agency, visited Khor Virap and Noravanka (03.04), Delijan and Lake Sevan (05.04), Garni and Gegard (09.04) and cable car in Tatev (11.04). We were very pleased. Liked the comfortable minibuses, treats and attitude in general. We even asked once to change our schedule for two tours and the agency was happy to help us. All the guides did well, especially remember Naira Vardanyan, Jasmine and Sona. Separately I want to note Naira V. - she tried to make the stay of all tourists comfortable, suggested beautiful locations for the photo and helped with any questions. We were very lucky to take her on two tours out of four. P.S. On the bus, seats are allocated on the basis of "first come, first come, best seat", so if you do not want to sit at the end - just come to the meeting in advance. P.P.S.
