Wenn Sie das Kreuzfahrtschiff verlassen, erwartet Sie Alex mit einem Schild mit Ihrem Namen. Er begleitet Sie auf einer Tour, um die Schönheiten von Messina und seinem historischen Zentrum zu entdecken. Zu den bemerkenswertesten Sehenswürdigkeiten gehört die Kathedrale von Messina. Diese prächtige Kathedrale mit ihrer imposanten Fassade und ihrer historischen astronomischen Uhr ist ein wahres Juwel der sizilianischen Architektur. Der ebenso faszinierende Innenraum beherbergt Kunstwerke von unschätzbarem Wert. Ein weiterer Ort, den Sie sich nicht entgehen lassen sollten, ist der Orionbrunnen auf der Piazza Duomo. Dieser im 16. Jahrhundert erbaute Brunnen gilt als eines der schönsten Beispiele der Renaissance-Skulptur in Sizilien.
Entspannen Sie sich am wunderschönen Strand von Isola Bella, einem der schönsten Naturschutzgebiete Siziliens. Kommen Sie nach Sizilien, Sonne und Meer zusammen mit der wunderschönen Stadt Taormina.
Die letzte Station unserer Tour wird Taormina sein, wo wir etwa 3 Stunden verbringen werden. Sie können die schöne Aussicht und das charakteristische griechisch-römische Amphitheater bewundern (der Eintritt ins Theater ist nicht im Preis inbegriffen). Wir werden auch das bewundern können historisches Zentrum und der charakteristische Corso Umberto. Ich werde Sie mitnehmen, um die wunderschöne Insel vom berühmten Balkon von Taormina aus zu bewundern, von dem aus Sie Fotos machen können, die Ihnen eine einzigartige Erinnerung an den Ort hinterlassen. Sobald dies erledigt ist, kehren wir über die Autobahn für eine Dauer von etwa 45 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Messina zurück.
Nach dem Stopp in Taormina kehren wir zum Schiff zum Starttreffpunkt zurück.

Bei Ankunft im Hafen von Messina werden die Reisenden am Gate 5 empfangen. Einer unserer Fahrer wird sie mit einem Schild mit ihrem Namen darauf begrüßen. Die Start- und Endzeiten der Tour müssen mindestens 24 Stunden im Voraus auf Basis der Ankunfts- und Abfahrtszeiten des Kreuzfahrtschiffs vereinbart werden.

We contacted Booking Sicily Tours at 10:00 p.m. the night before our cruise arrived in Messina, hoping to arrange transportation for 11 people to Taormina, the beach, and back to the port. Alessandro responded immediately, and by the next morning he had secured a vehicle large enough for our group. Our guide, Marissa, was absolutely incredible. She went far beyond simply providing transportation. She arranged beach chairs, an umbrella, and even towels at a beach club, then made lunch reservations at an air-conditioned restaurant where we were seated immediately upon arrival. Throughout the day, she made everything effortless and stress-free. Marissa also took photos of our group and shared them with us afterward, giving us wonderful memories to take home. What we expected to be just transportation turned into one of the highlights of our cruise. The exceptional service and attention to detail made our day unforgettable. I can’t recommend Booking Sicily Tours enough! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!
Our guide Marissa was the BEST!! She kept the energy flowing and she was very informative about the city and region and places to eat and shop which were more “local” and family run. Also very flexible to change the order of things so we could cool off in the ocean after touring in the heat. Taormina is colorful and beautiful. It was great to have a private vehicle for our group of ten friends and our driver, Domenica, was also very nice. Only one negative was the beach we went to was not so nice. We should have stayed with Isola Bella but guide recommended a different beach with less stairs, but still many stairs. Beach was littered and stairs had a bad smell. We did a quick dip to cool off but did not stay long. Overall still a great day!!
First of all, thank you for your kind words about Marisa, our driver, and the minivan. We truly appreciate your feedback. Regarding the stairs, Mazzarò has only about 40 steps, while Isola Bella has at least 150. We recommended Mazzarò because we had been asked to choose the option with fewer stairs. As for the cleanliness of the beach and the water, unfortunately that is beyond our control. Nevertheless, we truly appreciate your wonderful review and hope to welcome you back to Sicily in the future!
Hana our tour guide and Francisco our driver were wonderful! They met us at the port and took us to Isola Bella, where we had the opportunity to go swimming. From there, we headed to Taormina and enjoyed pizza, wine and a limoncello spritz at an amazing Italian restaurant. They then took us to Messina, where they treated us to delicious cannolis and visited the stunning cathedral and to see the famous astronomical clock. Throughout the day, they were incredibly flexible with the schedule, allowing us to explore at our own pace and tailoring the experience to our interests. Their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to accommodate our preferences made the day truly memorable. I would highly recommend Hana and Francisco to anyone looking for a fantastic and personalized experience.

Had the best day in Taormina with our tour guide Federica and driver Fulvio. We had a private walking tour around Tairmina town. They arranged for a lunch right by the Sea. Then we were able to walk down to the Isola Bella beach area. Wish we had water shoes because it was all rocks! I would definitely recommend a tour with them.
Alessandro was fantastic. I’m from New Orleans , booked him on a recommendation from the group I am in. Combination was quick and he was always accommodating. Setup out entered day and I didn’t have to spend anytime planning for Messina and and Taormina , he didn’t all from Boat tour to shopping and eating, don’t think twice .

The day we spent with Alessandro was amazing. We saw Taormina and Isola Bella. He made sure we did what we wanted and had sufficient time to do everything. He took lots of pictures throughout the day and then shared his love for Messina with us. We had plenty of time to make it back to port. We also loved the singing in the car.
One of the best tours my family has taken. This is a perfect option when you are trying to plan a tour and you are unsure of what you really want to do when you get to Sicily. No big group tour, no headphones in your ears, no big charter bus. You choose your shopping dining and time at the beach. Don’t forget to stop for a cannoli. Perfect for our family of two college daughters and my husband. We had Ariana and Alessandro to ourselves all day.
