Das Shimba Hills National Reserve ist ein kleines Nationalreservat in der ehemaligen Küstenprovinz Kenias, 33 km von Mombasa und 15 km von der Küste entfernt. Das Reservat ist ein Gebiet mit Küstenregenwald, Wald und Grünland

Reiseverlauf
Abholung von Ihrem Hotel in Mombasa um 6 Uhr morgens und Weiterfahrt zu den Shimba Hills für eine Pirschfahrt am Vormittag. Wir werden auf der Suche nach der bedrohten Zobelantilope, Elefanten, Giraffe, vielleicht Leopard, Zibetkatze, Affen, Spitzmäuse sein. Für die Vogelbeobachter wurden mehr als 100 Vogelarten aufgenommen, darunter Strauß, Adler, Afrikanischer Habicht und Honig Fortgeschrittener. Wir werden die Shimba-Hügel mit einem Besuch der herrlichen Shedrick’s Falls auf den Hügeln weiter erkunden, bevor wir zum Mittagessen zur Shimba Lodge fahren. Nach dem Mittagessen geht es weiter mit der Pirschfahrt bis 15.30 Uhr, wo Sie aus dem Park auschecken und zurück zu Ihrem Hotel fahren.

My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful safari today. Damaris worked diligently with me to get the best experience and was so very patient. Much appreciated! Nathan was our driver and he was very knowledgeable about the safari and the animals as well as the surrounding areas. We went to the Nairobi National Park, Elephant Project and Giraffe Center. I had a fantastic experience on our wildlife tour! Our guide, Peter, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. We spotted lions, crocodiles, rhinos, hippos, and many giraffes and Gazelle. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a quick yet enriching wildlife adventure!
