Erleben Sie den ikonischen Kirkjufell Mountain, wie ein Bild zum Leben erwacht. Fahren Sie am Snæfellsjökull-Gletscher vorbei für atemberaubende Ausblicke. Spazieren Sie durch die wilden Berserkjahraun Lavafelder und betreten Sie eine andere Welt. Spazieren Sie am schwarzen Sandstrand von Djupalonssandur entlang (außer 15/11 und 31/01 bei schönem Wetter) und bewundern Sie die Kraft der Natur. Unser Guide wird Sie an der dafür vorgesehenen Bushaltestelle abholen.
Nachdem wir 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten durch atemberaubende Landschaften gefahren sind, machen wir unseren ersten Halt, um die Beine zu strecken, die Toilette zu nutzen und Snacks zu kaufen.
Wir werden eine Robbenkolonie besuchen, die das ganze Jahr über zu sehen ist.
Wir halten zum Mittagessen auf dem Pferdehof, wo Sie auch einige schöne Pferde sehen können.
Wir halten im alten Weiler Buðir, um eine der wenigen schwarzen Kirchen des Landes zu sehen, die mit Pech bemalt sind.
Ein Gletscher thront auf dem gleichnamigen aktiven Stratovulkan, der im Mittelpunkt des Jules-Verne-Science-Fiction-Romans „Reise zum Erdmittelpunkt“ stand.
Einzigartig geformte Überreste alter Basaltvulkandeiche ragen aus dem Meer heraus.
Es ist ein wunderschöner Kiesstrand mit einer Reihe von Felsen von mysteriöser Form, die aus dem Ozean auftauchen. Wir werden die Überreste eines Schiffswracks am Strand sehen, sowie große Steine, die die Menschen in den Tagen der Fischereistationen zu heben und ihre Stärke zu testen versuchten.
Kirkjufell (Kirchenberg) ist mit seinen 463 Metern einer der meistfotografierten Berge Islands, auch bekannt als „Pfeilspitzenberg“ auf Game of Thrones.
Wir fahren an den Lavafeldern der Bersekjahraun vorbei. Die Lavafelder, die vor etwa 4.000 Jahren entstanden sind, sind extrem dick und mit wunderschönen Felsformationen verziert.
Letzter Halt für eine Toilettenpause bevor wir zurück nach Reykjavik fahren.

-Der Abholvorgang beginnt um 8:30 Uhr und dauert bis etwa 9:00 Uhr, da wir Passagiere von verschiedenen Orten abholen. Wir bitten Sie, bis 08:30 Uhr an Ihrem gewählten Abholort zu sein. Es ist wichtig, dass wir Ihre E-Mail-Adresse gespeichert haben, damit wir Ihnen 30 Minuten vor der geplanten Abholzeit eine E-Mail senden können. Diese E-Mail enthält eine Beschreibung unseres Autos, einschließlich eines Fotos und des Nummernschilds. Wir geben in der E-Mail auch den Namen des Reiseleiters an. Unser Fahrer/Reiseleiter wird immer anhalten, aus dem Auto steigen und nach Ihnen suchen. Er wird den Abholpunkt nicht verlassen, es sei denn, er kann Sie nicht finden. -Wenn Sie in der Innenstadt von Reykjavik übernachten und den Namen Ihres Hotels nicht in der Liste finden, müssen Sie die Bushaltestelle benutzen, die zu Ihrer Unterkunft führt. Diese Bushaltestellen wurden von der Stadt Reykjavik eingerichtet, um den Verkehr von Bussen und größeren Fahrzeugen in den manchmal engen Straßen in den älteren Teilen von Reykjavik einzuschränken.

Gon was our tour guide and he was fantastic. His knowledge of Iceland was as deep as his professionalism! The lunch was delicious and it felt like home. Eduard was our guide for the Snæfellsnes tour. The pick up was timely and convenient, I was able to contact the office to adjust the location closer to our accommodation, and he brought a car seat for our 5yo just in case we had forgotten ours. He gave helpful recommendations and had great stories and insights and just the right amount of talking and quiet time to absorb and take it all in.

Exceeded our expectations. The sights were well-chosen, and provided the opportunity to appreciate the sheer majesty, scope, enormity, and beauty of Iceland. This was damned impressive! Oh, and the provided lunch was no soup and a piece of bread...no, this was a very hearty and delicious homemade hot buffet with large meatballs with a sauce to die for, and all the trimmings - down to the fabulous dark chocolate covered marble cake. Wow! What a meal! Our driver/ tourguide, Roger, was a joy. He was courteous, professional, educational, and a very good driver. Overall it was a marvelous experience. We highly recommend East West Tours for a day discovering the Snaefellsness Penninsula. It was a terrific variety of sights! Thank you!

Excellent tour. Kept us engaged. Roger was excellent with information, humor, and overall knowledge. Plenty of time at each stop, and adequate bathroom breaks. 18 people...perfect size.

I am having a great time, on my way back in the sprinter. I have to say, my simon Adolf, pronounced "see mon" is a great storyteller, about culture, history, folk stories and even ghost stories. I learned a lot about lava, tall radio antenna where on can awing from the top with a permit. He is such a lovely guide. He made the ride and 10 hours go back fast and he is driving wonderfully on the rough roads. It is beautiful out here. I hope to come again with smaller tours airh an overnight. Looking for more tours like that, so we could stop in little towns, capturing more wonders. I love a small coffee shop detours instead of gas station for carrot cake ans coffee at the end. The rain was not forgiving but the tour was fabulous, I didnt mind. Just bring your gloves, hats, wind and water proof clothing and a snood for the wind. Thank you Simon. Gon the guide was excellent and he was such a careful driver! He explained everything extremely well and made everyone feel comfortable. The tour itself is wonderful and the homemade at the horse farm is fabulous. I'd totally recommend it. It was the best tour I did in Iceland.
