Der Golden Circle ist das bekannteste Reiseziel von Reykjavik. Auf dieser Route genießen Sie wunderschöne Landschaften und besuchen Islands drei berühmte Orte: Geysir-Geothermalgebiet, Gullfoss-Wasserfall und Thingvellir-Nationalpark.
Der Thingvellir ist sowohl historisch als auch geologisch ein wichtiger Standort. Hier wurde Ende der 900er Jahre das erste isländische Parlament gegründet und dies ist auch die sichtbare Trennung zwischen der eurasischen und der nordamerikanischen Kontinentalplatte.
Strokkur ist der kleine Bruder oder der berühmte Geysir, der nicht mehr aktiv ist. Strokkur ist aber immer noch sehr aktiv und bläst alle 7 bis 10 Minuten Wasser in die Luft. An dieser Haltestelle können Sie auch Lebensmittel kaufen.
Gullfoss ist ein Wasserfall des Weißflusses Hvítá. Er hat zwei Stufen von 11 und 21 Metern und zieht in einer Sekunde mehr als 100 m³ Wasser durch sie hindurch.
Kerið ist ein legendärer vulkanischer Krater mit 55 Metern Tiefe.
Vielleicht ist das Highlight des Tages die Zeit, die Sie im weltbekannten Blue Lagoon SPA verbringen werden. Dieses Naturwunder ist berühmt für sein Heilwasser und Sie werden sich erneuert und gestärkt fühlen.

This kind of trip we think isn't really for us. We like more time at places, to take in the history geology and culture rather than being herded around to point and press cameras then leave on a bus and drive manically to the next destination. It may be for others but not us I'm afraid.
Our guide, Sigfus, made our trip around the Golden Circle an excellent adventure. His explanations and personal stories made the trip not only informative but entertaining and enjoyable!
Our tour guide Andrea led us on a must-see tour of the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon, covering all the basics in an 11-hour marathon. She was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking this tour and requesting her as your guide.
Fantastic trip, well worth the money. Our guide, Sigfus Thor, was first class and would recommend to everyone. He made the trip all the more enjoyable, with additional bonus tours over and above what was scheduled. Trip was fun and educational.
Siggj was great! An excellent tour guide with a lot of knowledge about Iceland’s geology and history. His sense of humor and connecting with the participants (like quickly memorizing our names) really stood out and made the excursion memorable and special. Seeing the waterfalls, geyser, tectonic fissure, the remains of the abandoned town, the volcanic crater lake, and the blue lagoon were unique experiences that I will never forget. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Siggi!
Sigfús Pór Sigmundsson Is the best tour guide ever. He is a native of Iceland and knows all the history etc. of every place we went and more. He really made our day special. He added a couple of extra stops too. I would definitely request him as your driver!
It was AMAZING tour. It was 11 hours and saw so many beautiful spots in Iceland. Our guide Andrea who was perfect. Gave information along the way. It was great.

This tour is. Great first day in I Iceland tour. It gave you a sense for the landscape and geysers and waterfalls. The blue lagoon has been a long time destination desire of mine and it did not disappoint. I recommend this tour.
This tour is long but the timeline never made it feel unbearable. It was a nice smaller group and we a nice tour guide. This is a must do plus ending in blue lagoon was a nice touch after a long day. My husband and I were so relaxed when we got back we took a nap. I will warn you where they take you for lunch had many options but it was expensive. Just prepare for it. Also I would bring a rain jacket when going to the falls.
