Such a fun experience checking out the smith tower. Super friendly staff and we will definitely be back
Spencer Fairbanks doesn’t deserve a golden review but a PLATINUM review for his EPIC tour of the Seattle Smith Tower. As a 35 year tour guide myself, I was awesruck as to the incredible history, fun facts, and immersive experience he gave while showing off this incredible historic building! All of this was polished off with his amazing hospitality and gracious handling of our group! If you plan on booking a tour definitely book one of HIS tours!you will receive a five star plus experience! Endless Thanks, Global Tour Manage Count Kody Tuwaletstiwa
The view was great and the 27$ worth while for a break away from noise and people especially in a hot day Book online few days before for cheaper rate . The elevator is brass and polished also maneuvered by an attendant The food is sub par and could be much better However for a piece of quiet and rest this is perfect

Spencer gave us a wonderful tour of Smith Tower. In 22 years of living in Seattle, I had never been and always wanted to see the inside of this iconic building. It was amazing to see the gorgeous early 20th century decor. Spencer regaled us with stories about the building's bootlegger history, interesting penthouse residents, and ghosts! We finished with craft cocktails in the Chinese Room, which offers a breathtaking view of the city and surrounding natural beauty. Definitely worth a visit!

Pleasant receptionist who pointed out the booth to register and that feeds into her system for the 27$ entry The place is perfect to get away from it allie The noise the people pushing . You get to see how this tower was created via a very short museum with belle époque photos and luxurious marble floor . The elevator is the prelude as it is magnificent and polished as it was back then. Copper and brass It is operated by an attendant that brings you in a minute to the 35 th floor. The view is fantastic as you walk around this little wrap around patio ( mount Rainier is seen) The room leading to it has a beautiful asian ceiling where you can have a drink and some “just ok” food but with a million dollar view I enjoined the visit and recommend

The observatory bar is kind of cool looking, but food, drinks, and service are all below par. It was all disappointing and underwhelming.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience at the Smith Tower Observatory didn’t meet your expectations. We always aim to provide the highest level of service and hospitality, and it’s clear we fell short in this instance. I’d appreciate the opportunity to learn more about what happened and see how we can make things right. We visited mid-week at noon and had the entire place to ourselves. The museum is quick and informative, and the bar and wraparound deck gave a great view of the city. We really enjoyed it.
I went to this place and found it lovely. Take advantage of the discount of Washington State residents and super economic. The staff is very attentive. Even if you don't enjoy the menu or drinks, I've been checking and you have nice options. And the view of the city without equal. And if you want to spend a romantic time with your partner, having a rich drink and seeing the city, I think it is ideal. Highly recommend 😍💕

What a great experience! We took a walking tour and our guide recommended checking this out since the weather wasn’t going to be ideal for the Space Needle. I’m so glad we listened to her advice, not only is there a mini museum that showcases some of the history, but the bar is fabulous and the views spectacular. Highly recommend!
