Great zoo, with beautiful exhibits. Family really enjoyed the visit. A must do for new people in the area.
It was a nice zoo. However playing a loud music/band is not okay for certain animals. The singers weren't that great anyways, sounds like they’re having a practice not a concert LMAO. Better not to play music. It hurts in the ear. And concern are the animals.
It was great, the animals were awesome, the staff was great and the overall layout of the zoo was amazing and so easy to follow
Had a pleasant morning walking around Seattle Zoo
Our extended family stopped here for a visit on a larger road trip. All age groups are represented. Overall, it became a joke walking around because so many exhibits were empty and we started joking about what if the zoo no longer had animals. It was difficult to navigate, and we were seriously disappointed. What a waste of money this was. We heard a lot of other guests saying the same thing.
Do not recommend! They took forever to get back with me, misleading information. I will be taking this up with the BBB
Tons of animals for a fun activity. Zoo is super clean, workers are super helpful and informative. Parking in the zoo is easy but cost money, but lot of nearby free parking too
My 5 y/o son’s boots were taken while he was playing in the Zoonasium. The response from staff was and continues to be insensitive and disappointing. There wasn’t anyone in management available and I had to beg security for a ride in a cart to the front gate. Staff’s solution at the time was to offer tickets to the carousel. MY SON DIDN’T HAVE SHOES. (We don’t travel with a backup pair of shoes.) Takeaways: 1) Closely watch your shoes if you visit the Zoonasium 2) Good luck if you encounter any challenges while visiting the Woodland Park Zoo. I hope they treat the residents better than the visitors.
After reading reviews we were on the fence, do we go or not? We went. And boy was it a great experience. We felt the enclosures at this zoo are among the best you will find in any zoo. Plenty of room for the animals to roam. Sure they occasionally won't be visible, I'm fine with that. The bear enclosure was fantastic, large, plenty of room for the bears to roam and plenty of observing areas. The orangutan exhibit was also fantastic. Lots, and lots of space for the animals to move around in. The same can be said about the gorilla exhibit, and pretty much every other animal enclosure. Clean, no smell like some have said,we were among the first to get in on a Friday in early September and we were done shortly after noon. If you like to wander and take your time, absolutely do not hesitate, go.
Great experience! Keep the kids going and going and entertained! (14,10,8yr) Loved how they had a "snack shop " consistently thorough-out the park! (For chips, food, water, soda, etc!!!) The ONLY recommendation I can make is to have a worker at the exits so they can tell you how to get to the parking lot you parked in.(since many are from out of town) We came out on the opposite side we entered from so we got confused!
