Sky Trek & Sky Tram in MONTEVERDE

This is a great experience even when, as on the day we did it, the wind was very strong and the rain persistent. A Swiss made chairlift took us high above the cloud forest below and up and to exactly the point where Costa Rica ‘divides’ .One side leads to the Pacific and the other to the Caribbean. It’s extraordinary how different the climate can be on each side - blue sky on the Pacific side only a few miles from dense cloud on the Caribbean. The chairlift is comfortable and well maintained and a member of staff accompanied each ‘lift’ . And the views are amazing as the cloud forest stretches out below. And you can even get a fresh hot chocolate at the top.

We had a great experience at Sky Trek. Friendly (and patient) staff. Fun Zip Lines. Especially liked the "tandem" lines and the free fall.

Andrey was great for the hanging bridges walk he made it really fun - it would be nice if you rented rubber boots for those hikes. Hurtado and the rest of the guides were great with the zip lining also. It was my first time and they helped me get through my fear - thanks it was an amazing experience!
