Sigiriya Tagesausflug mit Elefantensafari & Mittagessen im Dorfhaus

Mindblowing day trip! We were picked up in our hotel in Mirissa, so the trip was very long. But it was worth every single hour in that car. Amazing experience! Raveen, the driver, was also amazing and we felt so incredible safe on the busy roads thanks to him. The whole day was an amazing experince. The communication with Sam was also out of this world - the SERVICE from the first email - AMAZING! After the day trip we also booked two differents transfers through Sam - also perfect. Would recommend Bentota Travel Mart to everyone. When we come back to Sri Lanka, we will absolutely book more tours with them.

Our trip was well organised and we had a fantastic day! Well worth visiting this wonderful site of history. We had a tour guide arranged who was very knowledgeable and spoke about history of the gardens and palaces as they would have been. There are a lot of steps, approx 1200 to climb to the top, so definitely wear sensible shoes! We also visited two temples in Dambulla. At Rock Temple again we were arranged a seperate tour guide who explained lots of the history. Stop for lunch at a lovely traditional buffet restaurant was great. Sam from Bentota Travel Mart has been brilliant. We also arranged two transfers with them and another full day trip to Ella which was spectacular! Very much recommended, we have made some terrific memories.

Sigiriya and Dambulla are well worth the long trip from Talpe (Ayurveda Paragon Hotel). The driver was punctual with the pick-up. The tour guides were all very knowledgeable. There was a very pleasant surprise event organized for my birthday. Thank you so much! I will book future tours again with this company.

So amazing! Our driver was very lovely and helpful. The tour guides arranged at both Sigiriya and the temple were simply fantastic! Definitely a must do tour!

Sigiriya and Lion’s rock was really amazing and definitely worth the long drive from Hikkaduwa where we stayed. The tour was very good and everything, like meals and tour guides, was prepared by Sam and BTM and was included in the fee.

Another super experience, after doing Udawalawe Safari trip with Bentota Travel Mart we book this Sigiriya Day Trip with them , another early pick up but very worth it as we could climb the Sigiriya Rock before it gets too hot, I can't find word to describe how amazing this trip was : our guide at Sigiriya took us to top and explain about its historical value and architecture, Sigiriya was absolutely unbelievable creatures by man and Dambulla is also very very exciting. huge thanks to Bentota Travel Mart for their professionalism and making another memorable experience. Highly recommended this company and we will definitely contact when we return to Sri Lanka.

Another early morning and long drive - but very well worth the visit. Once our driver had got us there he sort out a guide; who stayed with us the entire time explaining everything as we walked through the grounds, and as we started the climb up Sigiriya. Other helpers are also about to help if you need it as you start to make the climb. My husband - who had a replacement knee 18 months prior, and his other knee is a little dodgey - found the steps challenging, but with help from a helper he managed to make it half way. He was still able to see for miles around. I made the 1202 steps with my guide who didn't stop talking about the place - the knowledge he had! The views from the top were absoultly amazing. Coming down was a little tricky/scary as you can see much more around you, but with the guide never leaving your side - it made you feel very safe. Just to note - the guide/helpers make the trips up/down Sigiriya daily and are only paid from what the tourists give them. We felt their knowledge, undersatnding of the place, able to answer any questions just added to our trip. Having them around certainly made the day. From Sigiriya our driver took us onto Dambulla temple. Again you could have a guide, but we decided to let our driver, Dinish, explain/chat to us as we went round. We must say that doing both trips, as they both require a lot of walking up steps is tiring on the calf muscles! Oh and don't forget to take a water bottle and your camera - our guide eneded up taking loads of pictures for us...
