We walked trough the village and we learned a lot! It was beautiful, thank you
Mr. Chan Noun was such an excellent guide and so much fine. We had a great time for the sunset dinner / drinks on a floating restaurant and would recommend bringing cards or games to pass the time. It might be more fun to come when the water levels are higher so you can take the boat through the floating village but we enjoyed walking around and seeing the village nonetheless!
The tour was so good, i liked a lot. Nan was our tourguide and he did a big effort for to explain us all the details. 100% recommendable
This tour was good value we thought but the tour is best experienced in a wetter season as it's all about the floating villages and the lake which are at there best in wet season .
Our guide was Nam, he was full of interesting information and made the tour really enjoyable and interesting. Fascinating to see a different way of life like this. Recommend this tour.
Very interesting but briefer than expected
A real discovery of a unique part of Cambodia: floating village built on stilts due to high water levels from the rainy season. The small boat ride was interesting near sunset, going through the mangrove.
This is a very and varies tour. It visits village and school which was quite enjoyable. Sarum was a terrific guide who spoke good English. He explained everything about. Pillage and market life. Well organized. Would recommend
This tour was very disappointing and not what was advertised. It was sold as a sightseeing experience, but it felt like a sales route with lots of waiting time. A “10-minute” stop at a shop turned into about 20 minutes to push people to buy things. At the “floating forest,” you have to pay extra. We did not, so we had to sit on a stopped boat for about 20 minutes waiting for others. The listing is misleading. It is not a small group (30+ people). The “modern air-conditioned vehicle” was an old bus with barely working AC and no visible seatbelts. On the boat, there were no life jackets visible or provided, which is a serious safety issue. The guide spoke English, but stood far away and there was no audio system, so most of the time we could not hear him. The sunset is shown as part of the lake experience, but it was actually at a restaurant by the edge of the lake, not on the boat or on the lake. Overall, this tour wastes time, has safety problems, and does not match the description. I would not recommend it. 2 stars only because they got us there and back on time (but we were lucky to be the last to be picked up and the first to be dropped off)
The most important thing for me was I couldn't hear the guide talk on the boat. ..he stood at the front, so no one at tge back could hear anything. The time on the Tonle Sap fresh water lake was disappointing. I thought we'd be out there for the sunset. Instead we were stuck back on the pontoon that sold food, drinks and souvenirs.
