I enjoyed just riding around looking. My thing is if you're going to talk about the history include all of it. I feel like if you are going to tell us about the site where the hanging of slaves took place. Tell us about the statues of the slaves that went to war for the country that put them in slavery. We drove right past and around it and he never mentioned it, but was very quick to tell us where they brought the slaves to hang them that they have a name for the section. I won't say what is called Shame on y'all. We pay our money too for these tours. Now the boat tour talked about it all the truth of it all he did a great job. He also was funny.
The Riverboat was the best part of the tour. That was due mainly because of the heat and if the trolley had air conditioning it wasn’t offered
We wish the trolleys could be air-conditioned. We appreciate your feedback. Thank you for choosing Gray Line.
The land tour was excellent. Joyce, our tour guide, is a Savannah native, so she had a wealth of historical information about all the sights that she drove us to. I was sad to have the tour end. It was 90 minutes long, yet did not seem as so. Her stories about Savannah’s history were so rich and full that I just wanted to spend the entire day with her! However, the sea tour was not as interesting. If the tour guide gave us any interesting details about the buildings and Savannah’s skyline, we missed hearing it, and here’s why: In my opinion, a tour of this type should not be conducted on a huge cruise boat. Because of a brief rain we had to sit inside in a very large dining room and you had to be near a window, where some had fogged up, so you really couldn’t see anything. The crowds within the dining room were loud and talkative— too much socializing within the groups of people! So we really couldn’t understand what the tour guide was saying. It was only after the rain stopped that some of us migrated outside and sat on benches around the decks, and could hear the tour guide clearly. Considering what little we did get to hear, the tour guide had an abundance of knowledge about the history on the river, but we missed a great part of it.
We are thrilled to hear you had a great time touring with Joyce! We appreciate your feedback. Thank you for choosing Gray Line!
We had a good time on this tour. The bus picked us up at our hotel. We saw all of the local sites with a very knowledgeable guide. We got off at a couple of spots to get a closer view of things. He took us to our boat where we had a very casual ride up the Savannah. We were able to visit the various shops on the Riverwalk. I recommend this tour.

The guide on the tour bus was very knowledgeable and interesting in telling us about the history. I will recommend your company
We are pleased to hear you enjoyed touring with us! Thank you for choosing Gray Line.
The sea portion did not have a lot to look at, and was more about the industry currently located along the Savanah river. It was not what we were wanting as far as a Savanah tour goes. The land portion was so fast going by various sites that we did not get a chance to look at or really enjoy the city. It would have been better to pull over occasionally and be able to get a photo or hear a little more of a story.
We appreciate your feedback!
Fun filled , engaging, something to satisfy every personality. The residents in Savannah are friendly and helpful too.

The land tour took us around the cities the cities beautiful 22 squares (parks) and told much of the city history as we past old homes and buildings. Circling around block after block and statue after statue hearing so many facts. One thing that stood out was the statue that wasn't talk about and when asked about the very prominent statue a very quiet almost apologetic half sentence was given, "the statue to the fallen confederate soldiers." The water tour was on a beautiful river boat "The Georgia Queen" complete with restaurants and snack bars. We rode up the river, down the river, and back up the river as a narrating Captain told history stories of the views the we saw. Gorgeous day and ride. All total a five hour experience that I would recommend to all those new to Savannah as I was.
We are happy to hear you had a great time and appreciate your feedback. Thank you for choosing Gray Line!
This is a great value dual tour. Both narrators were very personable and knowledgeable and the trolley driver drove safely while sharing valuable history about Savannah. The boat ride was also very nice and accommodating. Actually saw two dolphins while on it. The about 90 minute time frame for each is enough. And another great feature is that while on the trolley, you can get off at certain stops and all you have to do is call a number and another trolley will come and pick you up. This is a great feature, especially if you start your tour early in the morning. Once again, booking a Viator tour does not disappoint!
We are happy to hear you enjoyed touring with us! Thank you for choosing Gray Line.
