Während Sie lernen, ikonische costa-ricanische Getränke zu mixen, bereitet der Küchenchef köstliche traditionelle Bocas (costa-ricanische Tapas) – darunter Pollo Caribeño, knusprige Patacones und herzhafte Enyucados – direkt vor Ihren Augen zu und serviert sie perfekt zu jedem Getränk, das Sie zubereiten. Sie können auch Ihre eigene Empanada Arreglada zubereiten. This tour is an absolute must in San José! Although I have already been to Costa Rica for the sixth time and have visited San José several times, this experience was a real enrichment and absolutely recommended. Angel led the tour with a lot of competence, joy, and of course, a lot of Pura Vida. It was great to learn more about the city at the Central Market, to experience the local atmosphere, and then to prepare empanadas and mix cocktails ourselves in this beautiful setting. The delicious Costa Rican food that we were able to enjoy together was also great. Everything fit together perfectly – the mood, the people, the food, and the many interesting insights into the culture. A wonderful experience that I can recommend to everyone!

Angel was fantastic! He had great energy, was incredibly knowledgeable, and made the entire tour fun and engaging. Excellent experience! This was the highlight of our time in San Jose. Angel was an outstanding guide and the food and drinks were amazing. You will not leave hungry or thirsty!!! We parked a little too far away and had trouble finding the meeting place (our fault), and the one-way downtown streets were not easy to navigate. I would recommend getting dropped off for this to make it easy on yourself. Definitely a must-do in San Jose!

This is a must do in San Jose Costa Rica! We did this in our first night to get accustomed to the country/city and Oscar, our guide, did an absolutely fantastic job. He was very knowledgeable in history, funny, and kind. The group was 6 people including myself, and we walked through the central market and the central avenue. Oscar did not pressure us to buy anything or get any souvenirs, he just simply told us about what's in the area and what to look for. He was honest about pick pocketers and the not-so-charming things about Costa Rica as well, giving us a realistic perspective of the country. The food and drinks served at dinner was super delicious. I am personally not a heavy drinker so it was nice to be able to have a mocktail or do a very light pour for myself. Overall this was an amazing tour to learn about the food, area, and culture.
