Safari Club : Kreta bei Sonnenuntergang, Abendführung

If you’re visiting Crete, this is an experience you absolutely shouldn’t miss! We booked the 4x4 Sunset Safari during our honeymoon, and it turned out to be the highlight of our entire holiday. The views from the mountains at sunset were simply breathtaking, and the whole evening was perfectly organised from start to finish. A huge thank you to our guide, Vangelis, He was brilliant—funny, knowledgeable, and made the trip so enjoyable. He shared lots of interesting information about the local area and even doubled as our photographer, taking some incredible photos that we’ll treasure from our honeymoon. One of our favourite moments was stopping in the mountains to feed the goats, which was such a unique experience, there wasn’t any crowds, think we got picked up around 17:00 and was dropped off at 23:30. We also visited a small traditional village where we had the chance to sample locally produced olive oil. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything, which we really appreciated. The evening finished with an amazing meal, followed by traditional dancing, creating the perfect end to a fantastic trip. The scenery, food, atmosphere and hospitality were all outstanding, and our guide really made the experience unforgettable. This was without a doubt the best evening of our holiday, and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Crete. 100% worth every penny!

The guide / driver Michael (sniper) was first class and went above and beyond to make my husband’s 60th birthday very memorable. He was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and helped us create the best photographs we have ever had. We have been to Crete a few times and weren’t aware about the many different flavours of raki (you have the opportunity to purchase if you wish). The sunset is breathtaking while you enjoy a lovely glass of Cretan sparkling wine and an array of fresh fruit. Then you are back down the mountain for an amazing meal, wine and dancing while watching the moon lit sky. This is the best trip we have ever done over the years of visiting Crete. I highly recommend this.

I recommend this excursion 100%. Our guide Gregory was lovely; his explanations were very clear, and he took the time to take beautiful photos for us. The meal we had in a tavern after sunset was delicious. And we ended the evening with a little dance; great atmosphere!

Great evening on the sunset tour led my the createn- German guy. Very friendly and knowledgeable! The tour was around 6 hours getting back to the hotel at 11pm (not the 9pm told to us by the TUI rep!) not that this was an issue as it was a thoroughly enjoyable night and well worth the money to experience some authentic Crete . Drove in the handover up the mountains to local villages, stopping to feed the rather lively goats on route! Then stopping on the perfect mountain top for a sunset with champagne and fruit. Lastly but not leastly stopping for a traditional Crete meal in a local taverna. Would recommended to anyone probably one of the best tours we have ever done
