Der Old City Heritage Walk ist ein umfassender Rundgang durch Hyderabad, der Sie 400 Jahre zurück in die Zeit der Qutb Shahi-Sultane führt, die die Stadt erbauten und ein bleibendes kulturelles Erbe hinterließen. Während wir an den palastartigen Villen und Moscheen einer vergangenen Ära vorbeigehen, werden wir bei diesem Rundgang auch das Leben und die Zeiten der Nizams von Hyderabad wiedererleben. Der Spaziergang beginnt am berühmten Charminar und endet am Chowmahalla-Palast der Nizams. Unser Unternehmen engagiert sich für die Stärkung der lokalen Gemeinschaften. Charminar ist ein Denkmal, das symbolisch für die Stadt Hyderabad ist. Es wurde 1591 von Mohammed Quli Qutb Shahi, dem fünften Sultan der Qutub Shahi-Dynastie, zum Gedenken an das Ende eines tödlichen Pestangriffs auf die Stadt erbaut. Unser Führer wird Sie mit Legenden wie dem Vorhandensein eines geheimen Tunnels unter Charminar verzaubern, der mit dem Golconda-Fort verbunden ist und als Fluchtmöglichkeit für die königliche Familie in Notzeiten dient.
Wir werden diesen berühmten Straßenbasar für Perlen und Armreifen besuchen.
Wir laufen weiter zum Mekka Masjid, einer der ältesten Moscheen in Indien. Der Grundstein wurde von Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah, dem fünften Herrscher der Qutub Shahi-Dynastie, gelegt. Die Steine, aus denen die Moschee gebaut wurde, wurden aus Erde aus Mekka hergestellt! Diese prächtige Moschee bietet Platz für mehr als 10000 Menschen.
Die letzte Etappe unseres Weges führt uns nach Choumahalla. Es ist der Palast der Nizams, die einst die reichsten Menschen der Welt waren. Zu den bemerkenswerten Abschnitten in diesem Palast gehören ein Wasserbrunnen, Oldtimer, aufwendige Schnitzereien, Glasleuchter und die große Durbar-Halle. Während der Blütezeit der Nizams besetzten bereits 7000 Besucher diesen Palast! Unser Guide gibt Ihnen einen Einblick in das persönliche und politische Leben von Nizams in Hyderabad. (Der Choumallah-Palast ist am Freitag geschlossen. Wenn wir den Spaziergang am Freitag machen, werden wir ihn nicht besuchen.)

It was a great experience getting the feel of the old city from a very knowledgeable guide.

Shashi was incredible! She did a fantastic job telling me all about the history of hyderabad. She took me to all the spots (the markets, the masque, the center etc. She is a wonderful guide , 10/10 recommend shashi! She did a great tour showing the culture of hyderabad/india. Would highly recommend for further tours!

I had an amazing walking tour with Ms. Shashi. She is from Hyderabad and very knowledgeable. I really feel that I got to experience a little taste of Hyderabad culture. And Shashi is so sweet and a pleasure to spend time with. Don’t miss this tour when you’re in Hyderabad.
Our guide Sashi was very knowledgeable and made it a great day out for us walking in the old city. Make sure to go to Charminar in the early morning when there are no crowds and it is cooler. There is a great view from the top. Chowmahalla palace is well worth a visit with beautiful gardens and the mosque was very interesting too.
Had a lovely time learning about Hyderabad old town history with Ms. Shashi for the half day tour. The tour was well structured with a mix of history and experiences such as watching the making of bangles, trying milk tea and the Osmania cookies. Ms. Shashi is very knowledgeable, kind and accommodating in regards to start/end of the tour. Highly recommended, especially for solo female travelers.
Srinu was incredible and this was such a great day. He gave me a big rundown of the history of Hyderabad as we drove into town. Then we walked through the historic town and the palace as I learned more about the incredible influences in Hyderabad over hundreds of years. He was so knowledgeable and answered every question! Then, we went to a few shops where he showed me some of the coolest authentic craft & artisan work still being done in the region. Really really awesome - cannot recommend Srinu enough.
Great experience on this tour. I went with my husband who was visiting Hyderabad for the first time. We were able to book this quite easily, and the communication from the staff about timings, meeting points etc. was very efficient. On the tour, we were able to locate our guide, John, easily and he even waited 5 minutes for us very kindly as we were running late. The tour was very informative, followed a good route and we had enough time to take any photos. All in all great experience and would totally recommend 100%!
