We had an excellent tour of Brussels and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Taro’s knowledge of the city’s history, culture, and hidden gems was impressive, and he presented everything in an engaging and easy-to-follow way. The tour was well organized, informative, and fun from start to finish. He was friendly, professional, and happy to answer all our questions. Thanks to him, we gained a much deeper appreciation of the city. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Brussels. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Very informative and helpful overview of the city for first timers and he great recommendations from the tour guide where and where not to go
Francois was a terrific guide, his historic knowledge of the area and of architecture made this one of the best tours I have taken this year. I had no idea of the richness Brussels has. I had booked this tour to fill up an open morning and now I want to know more, I'll be back!
That was Excellent. The guide was perfect.
Our Guide, Eugene, was very knowledgeable about the history of Brussels. We saw a lot on the tour & he had us going up & down hills! It was great!
Eugene tried too hard to be entertaining which made his stories hard to follow. I found his blaspheming distasteful. Some great sites but too much standing in one place listening and not enough walking
Thank you for taking the time to review us. We're sorry the experience didn't fully hit the mark. Your points about the storytelling, pacing, and content have been passed on to your guide.
Well worth doing , very informative and a great way to start your day in Belgium, She spoke very good English and nothing was a problem. I Definitely recommend
Eugen as our guide, for just 2 months of being a guide. delivered some good tips about the city history and made the tour really interactive, at the end the tourist with most questions answered received a beer of his choice. I don't think the city's history is worth the tour to be repeated but it was definitely worth it for the first time in the City
Our walking tour of Brussels with Mica was excellent. She was pleasant and engaging. There were eight people in our group but she made each feel as if they got individual attention. Mica welcomes interaction and discussion. The tips she provided (multiple times) of where to shop or eat were appreciated. This 2.5 hour walking tour is a great overview if you have only a few hours in Brussels. Otherwise it is a great introduction and highlights to you what you most want to go back and visit in depth.
Great tour. Took it right after I arrived. Great for getting some context on Belgium and getting one’s bearings. My only suggestion is when the guide (or if as there are a few, but mine did) mentions King Leopold II and his colonization of the congo, the guide said that Belgium intentionally likes to leave him out of history as to not glorify him. The problem however is the same issue with Haiti, the US and other places where slave labor and colonialism occurred. When we erase that history, it leaves an excuse not to help fix the problems of today that were created back then. It makes it easy for people to look the other way or shrug things off as something that happened a long time ago as if it’s no longer relevant. To keep blaming the descendants of the human trafficked for their lack of wealth and generational trauma. I was happy that the guide brought it up, but I hope in the future he can leave out the part about forgetting it as a country. Please do keep sharing this important history.
