Rotterdam hat mehr Flachdächer als jede andere Stadt in den Niederlanden. Dies ist teilweise auf den Wiederaufbau nach der Bombardierung vom 14. Mai 1940 zurückzuführen. Begleiten Sie uns auf dieser 2,5-stündigen Erkundungstour entlang und auf vier innovativen und besonderen Dächern im Stadtzentrum von Rotterdam und genießen Sie die herrliche Aussicht auf die Skyline der Stadt.

Hier beginnen wir die Tour und geben Ihnen eine Einführung in die Rooftop-Tour und erklären mehr über die interessante Geschichte der Dächer in Rotterdam.
Dieses dritte Rooftop ist insgesamt 2 Kilometer lang und damit das längste Rooftop der Niederlande. Es ist eine alte Bahnstrecke, die in einen erhöhten Park umgewandelt wurde und wird.
Das zweite Dach, das Sie besuchen werden, ist ein Dachgarten, der als "Bestes Dach der Niederlande" ausgezeichnet wurde. Es ist ein wunderbares grünes Dach mit Hühnern, Gemüse und Obst.
Das erste Dach, das Sie besuchen, ist das Dach des NH Atlanta Hotels am Coolsingel. Von dieser Dachterrasse haben Sie einen spektakulären Blick auf den Coolsingel mit dem Rathaus und der alten Post. Ihr Guide wird Ihnen Beispiele für neue Nutzungen von Dächern in der Stadt vorstellen.
Das vierte Rooftop befindet sich im zentralsten Teil der Innenstadt und bietet einen beeindruckenden Blick auf die mittelalterliche Laurenkirche. Dieses Dach hat einen sozialen Nutzen. Hier wird Ihr Guide mit Ihnen den Wandel teilen, den Rotterdam in den letzten 70 Jahren durchlaufen hat.
Im Alten Hafen von Rotterdam gehen Sie das Weiße Haus hinauf und genießen einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Maas, die Kubushäuser und das gesamte Stadtzentrum von Rotterdam. Hier endet Ihre Rooftop-Tour.

This was really gun and something out of the box. Cas is a terrific tour guide. If you want to see Rotterdam from on high this is the tour for you!
Really fun tour. Cas was a great tour guide. Very personable. I gave a four for meeting spot just because it was as sort of vague.
Nice enthusiastic guide. Knew a lot about it. We had great weather. In short: recommended. Make sure you bring some food/drink and put on good running shoes. You walk 2.5 hours through the city so it is exhausting!
Super fun experience from the roof with an enthusiastic guide. You will learn a lot about Rotterdam with fun and varied views from the different rooftops. Highly recommended!
5/5! We booked the english Rooftop-Tour and Anne-Marie was our Guide. She spoke english well and even as non-native speakers, we were easily able to follow her explanations. She is a local artist and gave many informations beside the main theme of rooftops in the city. The tour was fantastic. We visited four different roofs with unique settings and 3/4 Roofs were only accecsable for tours. Anne-Marie gave us much information about how the city changed (especially after WW2) and what the city needs to do in the future (climate change, space, living..). The Tour was about 5km, each bulding had an elevator and a bunch of steps. We liked the Farm-Roof most - to see chicken on a rooftop was funny. The Tour infos combines city-planning and sightseeing topics and you visit some spots, you probably want to visit, when you're in rotterdam (oudehave, de witte huis, rotterdam central station, cube houses...) and Anne-Marie took her time to explain some more information about the buildings. She even showed us some street art on the way, because we met the artist on our way (Anne-Marie seemed to know him well). For us it was the perfect tour for our weekend trip. And the views were totally amazing.
A super fun and interesting way to get to know Rotterdam through this rooftop tour. Especially due to the enthusiasm and great knowledge of tourguide Arco, this was a top experience for our family. Recommended!

This tour felt like a hidden gem. We got way more than we imagined out of it (including lots of miles walked). Our guide, Ton, was so knowledgeable, and the views were breathtaking and educational. What a great way to experience Rotterdam!
Very pleasant and interesting tour off the beaten track! Fantastic views of the city. Our guide Ton was very knowledgeable and friendly and had a great sense of humor :) thanks, Ton! De tour ends with the most amazing view of the city, from the roof of the “Witte Huis”, a place that can only be visited if you have the key to the building. The view doesn’t get any better than this, I’m sure of it. So if you’re looking for something different than another “highlights of the city tour” don’t hessitate and book this tour! (You will definitely see a lot of highlights though, don’t worry)
Good tour - even if only 4 instead of 5 roofs were visited in total & especially others than described in the detailed info when booking. But three of the roof tops were at least exclusive and really cool. And the guide was competent & dedicated. So it was definitely worth it overall. It would be even better if a really tall high-rise were included. The highest was about 10 or max 15 stories.
