My brother, his wife and I took the walking tour of San Miguel de Allende on Feb. 2, 2026. Our guide was Ana. We all thought she was great. Her English was good. She knew her history. Since she was born in San Miguel, she gave us a personal perspective. She made the history come alive.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m delighted to hear you had such a great experience with Ana — she’ll be very happy to know you enjoyed her perspective and storytelling. We truly appreciate it and hope to welcome you again! ✨
Marimar is truly amazing, super friendly, gives a lot of information in an interesting and passionate way. I had a great time learning about San Miguel and visiting lovely places I wouldn't have found by myself. If you want to experience San Miguel, don't think twice and book a tour with her. It's 100% worth it! Gracias Marimar!
Thank you so much for your beautiful words. It truly means a lot to me — I’m so happy you enjoyed discovering San Miguel and its special places. Thank you for your trust, and I hope to welcome you again soon! ✨
We were shuffled off this tour and provided with one by another guide with a different company. We almost missed it due to late notification via text message. The tour we did was good and covered the main points this one would have. The recommendations by that guide ended up sending us on a goose chase. This tour included water while the one we were on did not. Im sure the actual tours by this guide are wonderful, but we didnt have that experience to rate it.
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the confusion and the late notification — we understand how frustrating that must have been. In situations where unexpected changes arise, we do our best to ensure guests are still able to enjoy a complete experience, though we regret this did not meet your expectations. Your comments are very valuable to us, and we will continue working to improve communication and coordination. We truly hope to have the opportunity to provide you with the full experience in the future. ✨
Our tour guide was Marimar, and she was excellent! I wish we could have spent the whole day walking around SMA with her. She is so knowledgeable and her love and enthusiasm for SMA made for a great experience.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I would have loved to spend more time exploring San Miguel with you — I’m so glad you enjoyed the experience! I hope to welcome you again soon! ✨
Marimar , our guide , was very knowledgable and catered to all of our needs and questions. We had a very enjoyable tour of San Miguel. She followed up with some additional sightseeing suggestions. A 2 hour tour was the perfect amount of time to get to know the city.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour and found it helpful to get to know San Miguel. It was a pleasure answering your questions and sharing recommendations with you. I hope to welcome you again in the future! ✨
I am now sitting at the meeting point for my tour and the Tour Guide did not show up. After another tour guide contacted her she finally sent me a text ten minutes after the tour was supposed to have started, saying she was sick. She can’t be that sick as she offered to do the tour tomorrow. My only day to take this tour and I don’t get a tour, even though I booked five weeks in advance. Not reliable.
Hi Kenneth! Thank you for sharing your feedback. I truly regret that this situation affected your experience. I personally sent you a message as soon as possible to inform you about my illness and also offered you the option to reschedule with another guide, date or time so that you could still enjoy the tour. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response to that message. We understand that our guests have limited time in San Miguel, and that is why we try to stay as flexible as possible. Many of our clients request last-minute changes due to illness, schedule conflicts, or confusion with dates, and we do our best to accommodate everyone and still deliver the best possible service. I am a real person and sometimes unexpected health issues arise. Even in those moments, I make every effort to communicate and to find solutions quickly. My goal is always to provide a high quality and memorable experience for all of our guests, and I sincerely apologize that this was not the case for you.
Marimar was an awesome guide. Learned a lot and saw interesting places we never would have found without her.
Marimar gives an in-depth historical account to keep you interested. There could be an upgraded to cover another hour, Far to much history here.
