The tour had been confirmed for over a month and also reconfirmed two days prior to start, but no guide show up. Went up 03:35 AM for nothing. But Viator support was very helpful and I had the money back on my credit card already they day after. A bit sad though. Not heard a word from the tour operator...

Doc is amazing!! I have very little skill in photography and he was so helpful and patient!! Definitely do this. We worked hard to find great spots even when the fog wasn’t cooperating

The experience was great. Doc was very kind and took us to great spots on his Land Rover. He give us good tips to get the best shots and i would come back for the evening session next time.

Without a doubt the highlight of many highlights we had in San Francisco. I booked the sunrise tour with Doc and he took me to various excellent vantage points across the city, which as a tourist are not normally accessible or known. In addition to his considerable professional photographic experience Doc is also a very accomplished tour guide and provided a running commentary on the journey between sites. I managed to get the holy grail shot of the fog at the Golden Gate bridge as well as numerous other once-in-a-lifetime images. Will definitely book again and hopefully to one of his astronomy workshops. Thanks Doc.

Doc picks you up in a roomy and clean Land Rover. He takes you to excellent sites for some night photography before the sunrise and then places for great shots of the city as the rising sun makes it glow. His knowledge of the city is excellent. He is a skilled photographer available for suggestions on technique or settings. Will hire him again on return to the city. Highly recommend his tours.
