Orlanda was a wonderful teacher and taught us so much about how to make delicious dishes. Her family helped and shared in the experience. It was a warm and wonderful experience, one of the highlights of our trip to Italy!
This was a great experience. We learned a lot about Italian cooking. They were very welcoming, friendly and patient with us. They kept everyone involved.
Dina and her family were an absolute delight. They picked us up in Arezzo and took us to her house. We made spinach and ricotta raviolis along with other delicious delicacies. We topped it off with homemade tiramisu that we made. A great evening with conversation and food. We recommend this experience if you want an authentic evening.
If you are ever in the Arezzo area and seeking an authentic, in-home Italian cooking experience, I highly recommend booking an experience with Dina associated with Cesarine through Viator! Dina and members of her family were so warm and kind welcoming me and my family into her home. The home itself is located in a lovely setting with a charming garden in which we ate dinner under the setting Tuscan sun. Dina, with the assistance of her English-speaking relatives, did a great job explaining and demonstrating various aspects of the processes involved in the three recipes she selected to fit the season before putting us to work to complete the process. The meal was delicious; the prosecco, wine, and digestif were so good; and the company was delightful!
What a lovely experience with Dina and her family! Not sure I’ll make homemade pasta, but I was happy to learn how! I completely recommend you sign up for this class! Thank you again!
Errico was an excellent host showing us how to prepare the different plates. He was very kind and patient with us while we were preparing the plates. It was a very nice experience with him. Next time we go to Arezzo, we'll ask for have another dinner and maybe another class with Errico. Thanks Errico!!
Our chef and host, Francisco, was wonderful! We made a salad appetizer, pasta dish and dessert. He was relaxed and patient with our 10 year old and was really informative about Tuscan cooking and history, Our 4 hours flew by! Definitely a highlight of our trip and we would recommend this experience to anyone traveling to Italy who loves food and getting to meet someone local.
It was a great experience making pasta and meeting my cesarine Tania. Definately doing it again, when i go to italy
What a terrific ending to our vacation: a private cooking class at the home of Stefania and hubby Guiseppe. They both were so welcoming and were the absolute best. We made a simple bruschetta, tiramisu (her secret ingredient: mix a bit of Italian sweet wine with the coffee!) and home-made pasta for our lunch. Simple but so very tasty. Stefania had the google app for translation, and I had another app so communication was easy and flowing. I would definitely do this again, but next time I would try dinner. Thank you Stefania and Guiseppe!
