Both the company and driver contacted us the day before the transfer to confirm. On time pickup in Aswan. Wonderful, efficient transfer by Hassan to Luxor in a clean, modern, air conditioned SUV in about three hours, including a bathroom break. Highly recommended!

The trip was overall easy to arrange, the driver was helpful and safe, and we got to do what we wanted. The car was modern and has AC. However, unfortunately Abdallah, who runs the trip, was inconsistent and frequently dishonest in his dealings with us. We asked while booking to stop at Esna in addition to Kom Ombo and Edfu and were told ‘of course it’s possible to stop at Esna’. However, when we met the driver, he said Abdallah had told him not to stop there. The driver refused to take us there without Abdallah’s agreement, which was difficult to do on desert roads without service. When we were able to reach out to Abdallah, he lied and claimed we didn’t agreed to stop at Esna, even after I repeatedly shared screen shot messages of the agreement. After several attempts Abdallah accepted he had in fact agreed to a stop there, but lied and claimed the temple was closed (which a quick Google search would show to be incorrect). It took more requests for him to relent and let us go there. This dishonesty was extremely frustrating and nearly derailed the trip.
The transfer itself was okay, but during the ride the driver asked for extra money to take a faster highway, saying otherwise the trip would take about 5 hours. This was surprising since the transfer (3h) had already been fully paid on Viator. We arrived late. I still gave a tip of 270 EGP, but he asked for 300 EGP per person, which I refused since tips should remain optional. Overall the experience felt uncomfortable because of the request for extra money during the trip.

Friendly, english speaking driver. Very helpful and safe. Always checked on our comfort and whether we needed a break. Also made sure to take us on the journey faster than normal, through a shorter route. Assisted with our luggage, was on time at the hotel to collect us. Definitely recommend Tariq again.

Driver drove 180km/h. Felt so unsafe. Driver smelt like sweat which was uncomfortable to be in a car with him for 3 hours. Would not recommend.
